I was told snug was a sheet of ice and you'll need chains on all four to get up the road. That last was last weekend though.

Snug Harbor road is going to be a real pain...I wouldnt do it with a 4place. Sled deck ok but it is still sheet ice God I hate Primrose but I think it will be the lesser of tow eveils.

Looking for a group going to Lost Lake on Saturday or Sunday that wouldn't mind showing a newbe or two around this area. Let me know if you wouldn't mind a couple of tag alongs and let's go riding.:)

Dang, flying out Friday morning, of course the snow comes right before I take off.

We're riding tomorrow, going to make a final call in the morning but we're hoping to drive south. :beer;

Primrose Trail

Primrose Trail is in. Me and five other guys broke the trail in yesterday. We were the only six riders that we saw all day. We started at 10 am and got to the riding area about 2 pm. Flat light, light snow, and deep powder.

trail conditions

How much snow was on the 1st uphill under the trees. Was there a lot of ice and rocks?? How about the creek crossing at the bridge? usually a pretty slick area

I'd like to hear how icy snug harbor rd is or is not. Also like to hear from anyone that want up firemans. Is the first hill doable without studs or ropes?
Thanks
Tim

Going to try the Firehouse trail tomorrow. Im sure the first hill is icy. Going to use the swithchback trail to avoid the bobsled run. Usually pretty easy after that point, well hopefully. Probably being playing in the trees if its flat light, if not i'll see you guys at the lake.
