sorry... day dreaming and reminiscing...

remember last year :D ahhhhhhh yes

Remember, you didn't go ride there until AFTER I left.....hehe! :p So you have about 2 more weeks to go and then, just then will you will be able to ride there.

Ya, you can thank me for leaving when I get back...lol!

Me and some friends are going to lost lake in the 1st weekend of Jan. I hope they get dumped on until then....

Any word on the snow there? I know the site on NOAA is downtown so its not a very good indication.

thanks,

Dang, I thought the first post was gonna say LL is open. Seems like we've been waiting forever. Got fingers crossed this next system will bring enough snow to open the trailheads. I'm beyond impatient.

No access to the lake yet. There has been rain, rain & more rain this year in Seward. The mountains look beautiful & full of snow from the road. Should be good when it finally opens. Hopefully we are due a serious dump and cold spell by the end of the year, Hopefully !!!

I really hope it will be soon. I spoke with the park ranger on Sunday afternoon - she was nice enough to call me and let me know the status. Some areas in the Seward Ranger District got adequate snow cover - but officially NOTHING is open in part due to the holiday weekend and lack of staff to post announcements. Her higher-ups said it was a no go. They will check conditions Wednesday morning and hopefully have some good news for us then. (fingers crossed) If she calls me with any updates - I will be sure to post them.

Not yet, but it is snowing now and has been for 2 days. My son walked up the trail Saturday to go snow boarding and said ithe trail still need a snow. There are a lot of rocks and ice still visible

Been there done that for sure and also trying to get out of the way of a sled coming back down backwards at me.

Looks like we are going to give Primrose a shot on Saturday. You guys feel free to go track it up and get the trail set up for us... I will have a couple newbies with me. But we hope to stay the night at the wonderful Breeze Inn Motel in Seward and go for a "BIG GIRL" ride on Sunday (fingers crossed) :D

Thanks I'll take an IOU on that for sure, I have to get my lower A-arm replace first.
Watch that weather though it comes in quick there.
