looking for christian snowmobilers

I knew I liked you KrazyCanadian, but couldn't put my hand on it! I, as a believer, am thankful for my salvation, and for men like you, Dan, that aren't afraid to stand up for God. More men with your "status" should take note. I'm going to have to book a trip with ya in a year or two.:D

Its great to see so many positive reponses,i was 47 when Salvation enveloped me,just a note to those who think Christians are elitists...well quite likely they the elitists are not truley saved,we can not work our way to heaven,we do not reach God...God reaches his hand to us and only through His Son Jesus,....Salvation only happens with UNQUESTIONABLE believe in Jesus in the HEART ..we Christians are IMPERFECT...we know when we do wrong and we do wrong every day... sins do not go unpunished for us...l do not see myself any better then anyone...actually the opposite is true....thats why my daily gratefullnes for my Salvation despite who i was..anyway lots of snow up here..a safe and fun winter to all that partake in this wonderful sport....

Holy sweet Jezzzus!!!! 142????? I haven't read any of it and Im surprised this is still going. What thaaa???? Can't we all just get along???? Who the freak cares what religion we are?
We need snow so the threads like this GO AWAY!!!!
:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

I was getting disappointed that there is few people posting from Colorado I guess because i've only seen a few indicating they are from here.

But then I realize that this isn't about my little world here its about all of us christians supporting each other no matter what part of the WORLD we live in.
It just goes to show what Jesus and his father can do with just a fish and a loaf of bread and when we do things with Him involved the cup runith over with abondense of joy and happyness.

This is great Yes lets keep this thread running just to see how far it will go.

I am praying for snow and every rider that gets on the snow this year expert renter everyone.

God Bless

Might want to get out and explore a little more of what snowest forums have to offer... like the "colorado" section....

...food for thought.

Im a Christian also a Mormon... Ya'll Feel free to bash on me all you like and take your anger out on me and not this poor christian fellow who just wants to ride! I guarantee you i have heard it all and a lot worse!

I will still see ya on the slopes!

PS im praying for snow! :face-icon-small-coo but you guys have to do your part too!!! together we stand, divided we fall!

Mormon,Baptist,Ect.
You know I do not care what you are because you as well as other have a base foundation....So many people spend so much time and energy on who is right and what religion is right.....I feel like we should encourage one another and pray for one another regardless of who and what we are.....Thats why so many non Christians get turned away because if we cant get it together why should they join us........I am guilty and want to make a change and just enjoy life and the company of others that are Christians instead of trying to figure out who is right or wrong..........
I think we should get a christian ride together some place and have a service over a week end and just have fun and leave RELIGION out of it and focus on GOD and thank him for his son Jesus Christ..Thats my .02 cents

It's amazing that a guy mentions that he's a Christian and some people think every time you see him he will hit you upside the head with a bible. We are not like Ned Flanders on the Simpson.

I have a group of guys I ride with and probably over half of us are Christians and I would like to find a group that has more fun than us on the mountain. We don't stop at the top of a climb and site scripture. We don't try to convert the "non-christians" in our group at the warming hut. We ride and have fun. So some of you need to RELAX, we are not coming to get you.

Ditto Bro you said it:face-icon-small-coo Its just nice not to listen to the crap everytime you stop..keep it decent and ride hard. "You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. Mat 5;13.They will know us by our fruits.
I would ride with you however in Sw montana.:face-icon-small-coo
Mat 7:16 "You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?
Stay focused on the prize bro keep ridin' :D

YOU HAVE SINNED!! ;)

I too can't believe this thread is still going...and why I am even contributing to it :D.....it's like crack I guess. It's like a window into another universe where everyone is dancing around with bibles praising god, and calmly, methodically living life as they think their savior would want them to live....so interesting.

So I have an honest question.

If while on your sledding day, your party thanks god for the snow, you share stories of enlightenment, and so far have had a safe day, suddenely an avalanche strikes and wipes out half the party......is that:

A- A sign from God that you shouldn't be in his playground.
B- Just an unfortunate, yet ironic event.
C- There was a sinner in the group.
D- Part of life, and we are thankful for it.

The correct answer is E: none of the above

God has a plan. . . no human can know when his day will come for any of us on here is could be years or minutes and only he knows. The thing is to be in a right relationship with your savior when that day does come.

Praise god for the other half of the group who weren't caught and times in avalanches when you hear of someone who has been buried for to long and realistically shouldn't make it but does. Do you consider that shear happenstance or a miracle that this person can live to ride another day?

The thing is here is that the question was asked so i answered the question. Everyone has the right to their own opinion. And I would venture to guess that most prefer that you you agree with there opinion that is what opinions are about. I have no reason to judge people for their opinions on christianity as that would make me an elitist. I will leave the judging for others to when they meet their maker.

Mary's not a virgin.

Hey guys,
Lets all evolve past this thing that was made up buy people thousands of years ago to control big groups of people so that everybody thought the same. Humans naturally want to believe in something after death because it is unimaginable to thing that when you are dead that you will never talk, touch, see, or hear, from anybody ever again. YOU ARE GONE! And Mary did not get pregnant by her self or by some invisible being. Religion does nothing but cause separation and hate for others that think differently that you do. Its barbaric and stupid.

Could be however some day we all will die no one know the time place or why
C- There was a sinner in the group.Ha Ha...
We are all sinners saved by God's grace Christ was the only perfect one..
D- Part of life, and we are thankful for it.
Yes unfortinatly death is part of life.
I have been burried before no beeper dark out just a stupid choice i made by the grace of God i am still here still ridin just knowGod is real and is ultimatly in control.
I tried to learn from a poor choice, and God used it to help turn me around. Still a sinner just i have a relationship with my creator To bad it ushally takes a tradgity for some of us to pull our head out and relize it's not about us it's about him.
A poor choice could end it all,and if it does and still could the only diffrence is now being a christian i know when i do die as we all will I will be with Jesus Christ and God the father only by what he has done for us all, dying himself for us as we are all sinners saved by grace, but believing he came to die for us and was risen on the 3rd day is the only way to the father god.And that my friend is not religon thats truth...
Religion is bad a relationship is awsome.:D
Eph 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; [it is] the gift of God, (A free gift to all who trully believe)
Hope that helps Bro:face-icon-small-coo

Hey guys,
So logman god chose you to live, what about the people that don't live through that, are they not as special as you, does god just pick and choose who gets to go and who stays. dont get me wrong, I am glad you didn't die, that would a terrible death. But it just the way things went nobody chose that.

Wow, that's "truth" huh? I don't remember that in any of my college courses. I must have went to a Sinner School.

There's that "window" again...I'm awestruck.

I like Turbo583's reply, well said. :beer;

Logman sounds like he's blinded by the evolution of religon...oh wait, can I use the word "evolution" and "Religon" in the same sentence?

No offense ;)

Haha College. . . . I don't remember what i really even learned in my 2 years that I spent going to a 4 year college. Mostly all worthless! Nothing against guys who go to a 4 year college. It just wasn't for me I am very hands on and didn't understand why I was paying to know sociology for an engineering degree? Don't get me wrong I found sociology and pshycoldy to be two very interesting classes and did very well in them but didn't understand why I should have to pay $500 a piece to take them?

Sorry Im off the subject now. The thing is that religion can get pretty deep and that is scary for some even myself(a believer). But it doesn't have to be that deep. I have found that if a guy knows where to find stuff written in the bible there is always a passage in there that can relate to anything and that is what amazes me how could it be that spot on when it was written thousands of years ago, heck most people thought the world was flat back then, haha? Your relationship with god doesn't have to be deep. Take for instance two people standing at the gates of heaven, one a emblezzing ceo and the other a person that has attended church for years. God asks the church goer first to give an account of his life. The Church goer goes on to tell how he has given 10% of his salary his entire life and has gone to church every sunday and never used god's name in vain. The Ceo has a different answer as he stands at the gates of heaven. he reveils that he is a believer in God and asks for the forgiveness of his sins over his life. The point is that the church goer is a sinner as is the ceo in god's eyes. God did see the ceo repent and the church goer expected to just walk right into heaven and still may have but didn't expect to walk in shoulder to shoulder with that ceo that he had seen on the news for embezzeling. The point is that both of these people had a relationship with god and were beleivers and both got to meet god due to this. Without being a beleiver will you get the chance to repent to god when your time comes? And like if another person above stated All of us silly christians could be wrong but what if we are right?

This will be my last post on this thread. I am just glad to see the people who have written and the others who have read. Possibly there are people who have read that haven't seen god's glory for a while and it has made them renew that relationship and possibly others who don't know god want to seek a relationship with him. And then again possibly caused anger with others but at least made people take time to think about it.

Hopefully everyone has a safe winter season!

Well It's much deeper than that this was in 1995 the most important thing in my life was me and riding.:(
I had a buisness employees and a family(still do) What i learned was the choices that i always made were about me no one else.:face-icon-small-dis
What God showed me under all that snow was much the opposite.;)
My selfish choices were going to get me and they did.:eek:well almost;)
Our actions have consequences and thats were i started figuring it out...:D
I still ride and ride quite a bit just with a Different focus.
What this man is looking for is a Christian bro to ride with, and why? because the brother hood is awsome it's a connection you will never know about apart from it.I hope some of you will see no one is beating you over the head with anything its a choice a free gift.:DDidn't change my life to the point of being lame God gave me a direction.
I rode 1500 miles last year in the some of the best pow&trees you can find. with some great bro's to ride with.I think thats what this Bro is in search of.
Great form lets keep it rockin'':face-icon-small-coo
Jesus gave it all ,for all of us.
