I have friends in Belgrade/Bozeman and usually make a couple trips there over the winter. I'll let you know when I'm coming that way. It'd be cool to see your sled on propane. I've been following your build and it looks like fun. I rode the Swan a few times last year and it was pretty good. Do you ride the Kalispell area much anymore?
 
I ride the south fork on the hungry horse dam a bit of christmas when im home, or when im back in the spring time.. may is fun stuff there. Definately holler when your coming down, ever ridden the tobacoo roots?? fun stuff over there, and turbo worthy at that. Give me a holler before you head over.. definately want to see some of the crazy 1 ton.. and someone who knows how to ride one a bit better then I.

I'm making probably just under 400 on my '00 Stroker (Airaid, 4" turbo-back exhaust, tuner and injectors). I'd love to see what more HP feels like.
 
Its an '03 with a smarty, edge hot, 80hp injectors, silver 62 turbo, ats manifold, wicked cp3 pump, fass fuel, southbend 3600dd clutch, bhaf intake, 5" exhaust, cfm boost tube, and I think that's it. The best part is that I can tow like an sob and not get hot egt's. And the 3rd gear burnouts with two 50 yard black marks that are 13" wide are pretty cool too.:face-icon-small-win... until it's time to buy new 37's for it.
From what I've found it doesn't cost too much to get to 450hp, but if you want more than that it gets spendy. I dynoed at 611 last year without the cp3 pump, but I think the dyno was being pretty generous, because it definitely runs harder now and everyone was lower on numbers this year. The torque is what really throws you back in the seat and starts ripping the tires loose. If I remember right the torque was around 1200ftlbs.

nice! i bought an 01 dodge last year and i am hooked on diesel for life! nothing special for me..just an edge juice with tude, fass hpfp pump, S&B intake, 5 in straight exh, billet tc, shift kit and a j-hook(who hoo right). i want a bigger turbo because i get some scairy high egt's if i let it( 1200*+ if i let it), some injectors, bigger inj. pump head studs and i would be happy but school and most of all sledin has my money tied up lol. but it runs good i guess. i wanna dyno it but it aint anything special so why pay for it or look like a fool at dyno day lol

Nobody looks like a fool at dyno days. Its all just for fun. I started out my diesel addiction with an '01 cummins. It was 400hp with 37's. I had an edge hot, fass fuel, and a turbo on it to keep it cool, but no injectors. It only cost like $20 to get on the dyno. You get a few people that show up with just a tuner and brag that they are gonna be 500hp and end up doing mid 300's...that's good for a laugh. You should bring it down though. One thing I've found is that the dyno always shows that I'm less hp then what I hoped for.

Its $20 on dyno day. I think it is about $100 any other time. I don't have studs, and I'm running right at 50#'s of boost.

I'm getting about 23 max. Most of the time running down the highway it's less than 5.
 
what turbo are you runin? i would like to be runnin atleast 40...only spiking to 26 and max getin with it 24..j-hooks are a joke! lol but to run more boost i need more fuel.

I'm running an industrial injection silver bullet 62 turbo. You won't gain much power running a stocker up to 40lbs of boost. They are only efficient to about 30lbs, after that its just moving hot air. You do need more fuel to get more boost out of it. If you had your hot code unlocked from the edge that would help, but then it will get warmer egt's too. That was why I put the big turbo on my 01. A big turbo at 30lbs makes more power and runs cooler than a small turbo at 30lbs.
 
missoula is such a wonderful community.....right at midnight i wake up to a car alarm going off right ouside my window so i jump up and grab my .12 ga and run out of my room ready to blow someone away. turns out at about 11:45 my roomie heard something at the door and figured it was the neighbor out for a smoke...midnight rolls around and someone is jimmying our door locks and brushing against the door so colin jumps up to get his .45 and looks out our peephole and the lights are out. his gf hits her car alarm to scair whoever it is off. so im wondering wtf is going on and after i get the story i go lookin around the place and the entrance light is broken and i get back and called the cops.....sooo here i sit at 2:00 am and not a wink of sleep sitin here on the couch next to my .12ga lookin at the door ready to blow someone away......no sleep for me tonight
