Sled Partiots are putting on a ride on Saturday the 29th. Keith Curtis and other RMSHA riders will be there.

This is from Stan:
Last Call
It has been pointed out that in the on again/off again thing with the winter use maps some confusion may exist re: our fundraiser ride on Mar 29. It is on. Weare doing two rides . One following the 500 road into Blacklead Mtn. One heading towards the Beave Ridge area. This is a bit easier and shorter than the 500 road trip. Check-in time is 8:30 (Pacific time) Signs with directions will be posted at the entry to the Lochsa Lodge. All riders must have a beacon as minimum safety equipment. Dinner will be served at 6:30. The RMSHA RIDERS will be there. A film crew will follow each ride.
Donations will be discretionary because we had to cancell the true backcountry ride into the Great Burn.
The real value to this ride is the opportunity to engage you, the backcountry rider, with our efforts to keep backcountry areas open. We have some strong momentum going right now. You are the foundation to keep it going.

The Judge handling our (ISSA) lawsuit challenging the 2012 Travel Plan and Region One RWA management policy has ruled we can depose the FS which would go all the way to the Chief Forester in Washington DC. The FS has been srongly opposing any deposition proceeding. A deposition will surely expose some serious contradictions to their written testimony. There are some interesting developments now starting to surface. Unfortunately at this time I'm not at liberty to discuss them other than to say they appear positive.

Hence the reason my additional proceeds will be forwarded to The Fight.... how patriotic of me.... haha,,,,,

Great Burn

I just posted Stan Spencers email about comments for the Great Burn in the General Snowmobiling. I thought we might get more traffic and comments in that section. Scott if that is not the place for it please let me know.

Thanks
Glen

Remember, its important to argue points for content....but ALSO procedure!!!

More from Stan:

Sandra Mitchell passed on an idea that sending comments directly to Rick Brazell, Clearwater Forest Supervisor, might have more impact due to some of the Travel Plan issues recently surfacing in conjunction with the Collaborative Forest Plan. I suspect Rick would only see a recap of comments if they go to the e-collaboirative site but if they come directly to him it may peak his attention. I think it is well worth the effort. <?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
This is an opportunity to send a more comprehensive comment if the word limit on the e-collaborative cut you short. You can also just send a copy of your e-collaborative comment. email: rbrazell@fs.fed.us Stan
