not sure how much snow we got here but the mountains are still white. tryin to decide to sell the sled or just put a track and some other goodies on it......decisions decisions...

Montana Sledwarriors changed their name to Backcountry Sled Patriots. Become a member for free. This is the group led by Stan Spencer that is keeping The Great Burn open to sledders. The new website is http://sledpatriots.com/ Everyone on this forum should join. The Forest Circus and Wilderness advocates are scared of the Sled Patriots and are working with them. Yep, I keep looking at the snotel...then I remember its barely even October yet. It's a good thing for hunting season to take my mid off it a bit.

Yep, got the elk out. He ran down off of a rock cliff **** hole. Pretty much had to crawl up the hill on all fours for a long way packing him out. I cut up meat last night after we got out. I'm so sore that typing hurts. He's the one of the smallest bulls I've killed, but first one with an arrow for me. It's pretty fun having them come in at a dead run and letting an arrow fly at 15yds.



Anyway, the freezer is full so let it snow.
