I'd REALLY like to know how far you can drive before you unload. How long does it take to get up above to the Jocko/Seeley divide?
Do you need ayn type of a tribal permit to park on that side?
Is it 'safe' to park on that side?

We park at the end of county maintenance, approximately six miles up to parking area. The moguls are three feet high and all holding hands! Keep ya in shape.1/2 hour hard ride to reservation line. You don't need tribal permit to ride through. But peace offerings are okay. (BUD LIGHT, RACE FUEL, GUNS) ETC.

Ya surveyor sucks too !!

You don't need a permit till they stop u and ask for one.
Then I've been told you don't have to pay fine either .
I figure it's there land and if they want $14 to use it I'll pay..
Allot of land owners don't share .

I buy the permit,I am referring to the Jocko rd through to the reservation line only. The rest of the road systems belong to the tribe and permit is required.

Wingnut, the Jocko road is just an through road to the Seely side. There is tribal land on both sides of the road. No snowmobiling to non members on tribal land in this area.

The Jocko road is about one mile south of Arlee off of 93. Go 3 miles to end of pavement Turn left go six miles to parking area unload there. You can drive further but not plowed. It's about 15 or so miles to the reservation line.

Winger, right at the substation before you get into Arlee....you take the Jocko Lakes road.

Basically ANY right hand turn on some main paved road tirickles over to the Jocko Road if you get the wrong one. It's the only big main canyon that drains down out into there.

What ever that one is on north reserve by perkins.

Oh yeah...Sportsman's Wharehouse is now called Wholesale Sports.

Hoodoo was a blast today. About 2 ft of fresh depending on where you were. The Pro worked great and I'm very happy with it. No carnage to report except for some human carnage! Nothing to serious though! A few stitches and a throwed out back. Not me though! Hope your doing better J.

Well I can walk a little today, can't bend down though. My legs are burning too, so I must have some bulged discs. Oh well, I should be good to go for next weekend! I hope that crazy old Indian heals up quick...

sledfvr, Hope you heel up quick so you can get to the snow by next weekend. It sounds like you took a whooping.

Yep. It was helping people get unstuck all day and towards the end I pulled on a ski and my back popped and gave out on me. It's getting better tho.
