No more slides up there. It seems like what was gonna slide, already did and it's fairly safe now. It's nice and deep again, the ape and I had to work to make it up a few steep, narrow chutes. The road all the way up to test hill is blown in worse than I've ever seen, it was a 45 degree sidehill all the way. I left the Apex in there the last ride with what I thought was a broken chain, but it was just a broken bolt in the lower gear of the chaincase. Relentless and I had to double up on the way in...those new chassis sure make it easy to ride.

Thanks for the update. Sounds like the repair went better than expected which is always nice when your back there. The newer chassis are nice for sure.

We rode Maxville (Thompson Lake, Goat Lakes area) today south of Drummond. For 9000 + feet they sure are hurting for snow. Maybe 4'-5' on top.

Anyone riding around or somewhat close to lolo hot springs, staying fri and sat and want to ride sat, hope to make the best of it and want/would like to ride with experienced riders.

If I could, I would show you around. Best I could do is maybe ride on Sunday...but it might be a stretch for me.

518skidgine, Hope you had as much fun as we did. It was very probable that we crossed paths today at some point as I seen quite a few riders out and about today.

Seeley was a blast today. An honest 2 feet of fresh snow above the hut and back to the bowls. By days end the snow started to get heavy especially at the lower elevations. Around 45 degrees in town today.

Westmont, We had to change days to Sunday. Snow was as you stated wet & heavy. We had our best day of the year, sunshine and warm weather. Still sliding had one in the North Bowls today. Nobody in it ,You left us just enough for one fine day.

We're all hanging in there WingNutRacing. I went on a bender and rode the last 3 out of 4 days (hit Maxville, Seeley, and Lolo). Rod won't be riding this year for sure and hard to say when he'll get back on a sled. Not only was he very busy at home but his back is messed up pretty bad also. I think Ross's back isn't to far behind Rod's at times. It won't be long and we'll all be on touring sleds.lol Hope all is well with you and your family also. Call next time you're in town and I'll buy.

518skidgine, I couldn't track up anymore than I did. I was one whipped pup by the time I made it back to town. Had fun burning thru a tank of fuel though.Glad you guys were able to find untracked snow too with lots of sunshine overhead.
