went and rode near choteau lasts weekend. snow is good and had a blast! here are a few vids. and before all yall go doggin on me for climbin and side hilling so much...we all had avy gear and know how to use it and dug a pit(snow was actually more stable than i figured)....its the back country and i know the risks.

anyone know of anyone with a doo 800 head for sale? my dads sled went down on the way out saturday...turns out he lost the rings and **** went south...scored the cyl, piston, head etc 
damn thing ruined our trip to cooke in 2 weeks in about 1/2 a second. is there any chance some pieces of the rings got down in the bottom end, or can he get away with a new top end?

let me know if this would get you back on the snow. it is off a 03 800 ZX Highmark Extreme. I replaced the head due to the pitting.

Dont count me out just yet.
Remaining youth hockey schedule includes trips to Salmon, Cranbrook, Whitefish, and possibly Dallas and SLC. Light is at the end of the tunnel.
Will be for sure making my annual spring pilgramige to Lincoln for as much spring ridin' as possible. Sleds are pretty much ready to go except for a small weld job on the 890 pipes and going to Dynoport can from HPS on the backup ZX hoping I dont have to wear earplugs when riding old standby.
