Winger, looks like you'll need to store those at my house while you trapse off to NoDak. Don't want dust accumulating on those things.

Holy crap! Did we just lose all our riding area's? Time for a snow camo sled if that's the case.

Well it's all gonna be closed sometime after March this year. This was a good thread too. I'm gonna go take a bath with my toaster now.

Sounds like its too late. They had a 45 day comment period in November, but they didn't disclose it to the public. It goes through on January 10th and then they're gonna close it sometime after March. :face-icon-small-sad

I know that up around Priest they closed an area and people kept riding it so they deemed that they couldn't patrol it well enough and reopened it. Maybe we can try that.

Will they really be able to patrol it from the montana side? Its prolly going to be a catch me if you can......and really how many crosscountry skiers have you seen in kid lake or leo lake!:face-icon-small-con

We are losing almost everything between Lookout pass and Lolo pass on the Idaho side.

Who says? Well there's more than one way in there... These closures are entirely based on bull, and the FS knows it. They won't be able to patrol any of it...

Towards the end of last year there was Fishcops up Hoodoo and up Fish ck on the same day. They had some kind of "sting op" going on.
