How's the build goin this weekend???

How did the TD8 go????

My nose would be growing if I told you I was getting with it on the project so the truth be know I haven't hardly touched it this weekend. Thought I might put the rear skid together but quit. Decided to go with Ice Age rails and 2 wheel 8" set up so now I need to find them. At some point I need to quit getting parts and just put together what I have. Still lots to do and will be taking time off to finish soon.

The typical snowest answer is it will lay the smackdown on any sled out there and climb anything in its path!!!

Check the other joint.:)

well i was going to go today but fought with my sled all night last night until 11 and gave up. had clutch problems but solved them today. drivers were an 1/8" over too far so there was about a **** hairs width between the tunnel and track. moved them and found out the track is rubbin on the tunnel. time to start trimmin :( . other than that im finally ready to go. got a call from a buddy today who went up to lolo and said it was raining there all day and 36*.

I looked at the Lolo webcam yesterday and was glad to see that I wasn't missing out. Looks like it was pissing down rain all day.

Snow just barely covering the stump tops, the brush really hasn't been compacted down yet and the snow is very heavy and wet as of Saturday. Off trail is a crap shoot for sure. Dug a pit and had a slab at @ 8" down with another at @24" with all of that sitting on rotten snow at the ground. It was 'wooping' everywhere too. Needs a few more weeks/snow and it should be good to go boondocking.

ill hold him down while u kick the crap out of him !!! lets get winter moving !!!

west mont

don't know if you have ridden trout lake before. But it is a fun place. Fairly steep. Foggy day is a great place to ride. You can keep jumping to new bowls by folling the ridge to the south.

Also i have been in trout lake when they have had no fuel at all. none in town. I do believe that is very common. Fuel the trucks up in nakusp. I wouldn't recommend going in from kaslo, i doubt the road is open.

Tim, I haven't been to Trout Lake but looking forward to going. Thanks for the heads up. I'll be sure to fuel up to the brim. Plans are set for middle of March.

I've been lurking and see it looks like your on a turbo this year. That's sure to be fun.
