Live on Rabbit Ears

hey i have never been sledding on the ears but have always wanted to just wondering if i should make a 4 hour drive one way next monday or should i let it get better?

It's only gonna get better, but look at the pictures and decide for yourself:confused:
Any good riding/snow closer to you? That would make my decision.4 hours to R/E or similar conditions closer to home.

4 hours? Are you driving a Yugo? Dogmeat can do it in 3. He rides with us there all of the time. Look him up.

Talked to bushy last night....parked up at MC drinking and tunning.

Hope he gets that sled of his running right so he can spend the rest of the winter riding!

Was a good first weekend :) Kinda sickly though, so I didn't get much sledding or tuning done. Drinking helped ease the pain ;) Sled seems to run good when it's cold and high and poor when it's warm and low. lol

Great to see all you guys and gals up there :D I got some PLP lot pictures to post later.

We saw Paul in the MC meadow around 3:30 yesterday as we were leaving. He told me on a PM he was too tore up to ride but I guess a little meadow tuning doesn't count:eek: I was honking, but as usual, Paul had his head down playing with the controller and didn't hear us!! Remember Paul, stay away from the "lean is mean";)

LOL. Yeah, I kind of expected to head out in the morning, but took a turn for the better so i stayed and tried to tune the sled. Think the low compression domes might not be bueno on this top-end. Hope to have it figured by the weekend!

You going to be up there in the morning Paul? I'm headed that way....

Sorry to miss ya Rob..how was it? Was snowing pretty good when I left Tuesday.

Was a pretty good day on Thurs, freshies all around and a sunny day for once. Actually used the same pair of goggles all-day.

Im heading out for Clark CO. this wednesday night from Minnesota. Anybody gonna be in that area on the weekend wanna do some sleddin? We were out there last year and know of some awesome stuff to play in but its hard to beat riding with some locals! We are staying at Dutch Creek Guest Ranch again! (amazing breakfast) Let me know, we are thinking of heading over to Rabbit Ears on monday or tuesday of next week if it snows over the weekend and try to beat some of the traffic that im guessing is there on the weekends.

Lookin good Diz :) Kinda strange not being there. Glad the ear's gave it up for ya!

I needed to kick the cold/sinus funk and I think I did. Gal I work with sent me down to the hippie vitamin store with a list and dammed if that ginsu stuff didn't do the trick :D Bi Yan Pian and grapefruit seed extract...who'da thunk. lol

We found some good stuff in the trees on Sunday, but damn, it was tracked out good everywhere else. Wasn't the same w/o you, Bushy.

Have fun James! You ridin with Duke?

Anybody see any slides happening up there with the warm temps coming on? Pow's going to be settling with this warming trend.

Yo Skib. Hopefully I don't miss too many more this year. From what I hear, the backup sled is rippin pretty good :)

I ride what will run, that's all I can do. I almost made it the whole day w/o getting stuck, almost.
