Live on Rabbit Ears

Hey Dave, good to see you and Jerry this W/E. Missed you on Sunday, did you ride? Got a sound track version of that vid I'm going to upload to Kewego. You might appreciate the music...old school Tull.

Where's this at? Is there any run out?

I sure wouldn't..... Hill gets flat pretty quick and lots of trees.

Yep, Farwell, snowmobiler6. Have a good trip to SLO :)

You might be able to find an angle and a lane Duke, but it's pretty tight trees and off camber slope. Kind of hard to give directions to get there, but it's up north halfway to Buff. That guy made a nice climb just left of where Dave came down in this vid. He just should of kept climbing up to the left instead of where he went. His crew were on him like flies and in the same boat a minute later. lol

A couple of highlights of the SoCo guys.

Sweet Vid Bush! Like the slow mo! To bad Des missed the entire rollover.

Sorry Billy, I had one of my camera moments. The thing was accidentally on and recording the ground for 5 minutes, then I stepped up to the edge to film you and turned it off, thinking I was turning it on. That was an awesome angle too. Glad your dad got the shot! You'll just have to do it again! lol

I'm glad that you guys got that one from both angles. I love the slow mo on it too. You can see the left ski hit the stump going up and me trying to pull it back away from the cliff. Cool shot and talk about getting my blood pumping! The vid doesn't show the rock slab I uncovered as it rolled. That was a close one. I love the "parking" shot too, I just needed time to look to see if there was an opening to come down from there.

great vid

Yea, Paul, good to see you again too....I am hoping to camp at EARS before the season ends....but I need 4 new camper tires before I head out...trailer got full of mice too, so it needs a good cleaning.

We didnt ride Sunday. Sat, we ended up riding south from the bottom of Fish creek...we went over one ridge after another (hero snow), and found some really cool areas.
Maybe we can meet up at Cameron sometime...we got some spring rides planned ....Kelly lake, Crystal lake, and maybe Bowen pass, which is south of Baker pass a little ways. need blue skies for these rides.

Hey Bushy, Thanks again for showing us around this weekend. Had a great time as always. Looking forward for the next time.:beer;:D

Great riding with you again Tom and impressed with how well the new "dragon" hauls azz :D Def an upgrade from the 6 hundy!

Hoopers, drop me a line when your riding the Med Bow, I'd like to check out all those spots. Congrats on the new ride. How you liking it compared to the old Pol? That vid I shot Sat shows the Kelly lake bowl area...all straight up and down alpine stuff! Turbo country!

It was great seeing/riding with everybody last W/E :D Good thing we didn't all ride together or we'dve had a group of 20! Pray for snow or we'll all be huntin powder in the trees soon.

Will let you know on the med bow rides. We've done Kelly lake several times, and its not too bad. Going up the canyon is kinda cool, and is easier than it looks from the EARS. Crystal lake is the big canyon just to the south (or north?, don't remember right now)... will wait for a blue sky day for sure...

the XP is a lot nicer through the trees, and I can actually follow somebodies' trench up a hill. My 02 RMK had a hissy fit when it followed a deep trench. :eek:Plus the XP is light, so when I do get stuck, I can yank it around easier. :p

Hoopers,
I believe that my brother and I rode up on you guys while you were parked in some trees taking a break. We were both on black RMKs, one older one newer. Was that you? I thought I recognized you but it was after we were further back in there. That was the LAST place we expected to see someone!

I was thinking about heading up to the Ears this Saturday. Is there any soft stuff left in the state? The warm temps are killing me. March is supposed to be the month with the precipitation but the best I see is 40% chance on Saturday anywhere in the state. Ughhh give me snow please. Is that too much to ask?

Good snow in Cali! 7' in the Sierras. lol Hope it comes this way. Ear's always has some soft snow if you don't mind tree bangin on the north slopes. lol Storm is supposed to arrive around Sat.

That is a bit farther than I was planning on going. Even with the new sled "joneseys"
Dont dump all the precip in cali, come to colorado you will like it better hear anyway.
Darn weather is not working with my work schedule. May have to head up sunday and take a vacation day monday.

lol we were just there 2 weeks 10 ft in 6 days

It would make for a lloooooooong weekend ;)
