I know where the helicopter pad is.

You are two driveways past, any other distinguishing marks? color of house, house number, etc?

Right now I'll be solo, (hopefully meet up with somenone to ride with along the way) I'll be on a blue Yamaha Nytro MTX.

Should be leaving Alpine Meadows in the next hour, should be at staging area around 10:30ish.

Maybe your house by 11am....

Hi I'm Steve I live at LTS 9 miles back in on Coppins Meadow. I'll be here all winter so stop by to ride or hang. It started snowing this morning and hasn't stopped. About a good 4 inches already with more to come. We have been riding roads only, looks like the good rides will hopefully start soon. I will give you updates on the storm. LETS GO RIDING!!!

Grooming will not start untill the State of Ca. gets their contract signed and delivered to Sierra County. Tim is ready to start but will not get the ok from Sierra County.You can voice your concerns to THARP@parks.ca.gov.
The 07 is a motorcross. Snows going away.

Good Morning Blue Skys & about 5 inches new snow at 7000 foot elevation here at Coppins Meadows.

The snow is piling up slowly. had another 5 inches last night. Went to Mt. Lola on Sunday. The snow is sweet up there, had a great ride. No tracks except ours in the bowl. High elavation is where it's at for now.

I'll be up visiting friends for the next couple of days in Truckee from Mammoth and I was wondering where a good wide open space I could test my turbo RXP project. An open hill would be good also. After that it would be great to check out some fun mountain riding

If you get into the Castle/Basin Pk. area there is enough on some of those hills to do your testing. We were there Sat. and there were a few hills covered enough and I know they have got over a foot since then so you should be good as long as you are smart about things.

No grooming yet. The trail is beat to s***. Sierra county sucks a**. Weather is beautiful and the snow is great. Still a little thin to not worry.

I still need big help there. Were are you. Went three days in row with the jeep to the parking lot .Snowmobiling no problem. snow up here is fantastic. We will be riding tomorrow. HAPPY NEW YEAR

Went for a ride New Years day. Mother Nature turned our snow into Sierra Cement.Today, Suns out, cold last night, it will be better. You can see today no fog.
