little dogs?

What is everybody's take on the little dogs like pomeranians, chihuahaus (sp. check?) etc?

My girlfriends mom has this dog called a papillon (pap-eon) and normally Im a pretty good animal person but I seriously cannot express my hatred enough for this dog.

It looks very similar to this one. Its bark resembles a bat screech magnified 100x, barks at just about everything, has literally the worst breath i have ever smelled, will not leave you alone... EVER, and its seriously like 3 pounds? I mean come on I've seen bigger rats than that. Am I the only one that does not see the point in owning a dog like this? I mean... it wont fetch and good luck finding a stick small enough for it, what can it hunt? grasshoppers?

We have big dogs and little dogs. The little ones are great. We have a Minature Rat Terrier, Toy Fox Terrier, and A Jack Russel/Rat mix. Thy're full of energy and never short on personality. You can't go wrong with the little ones. Papillions are pretty small and loud but their not all that way. JMO

Little dogs are useless, when I get a dog it will have to be able to protect the wife a kids and not get kicked out of the way, the only thing I dislike more then little dogs are people with little dogs that refuse to dicipline them because they are little and cute FAWK that pisses me off.

the only cool little dogs are jack russels mine kicks butt catches all the mice killed a whistle pig and a raccoon,while my 150lb dope of a labrador watched.all them other yappee little dogs need to be squashed.

2 fat women drive into my place, I stand watching them to see what they want..
one gets out and Holy crap .. little weiner dog jumps and runs toward me.. my one dog
jumps up(he is charpei/german shepard mix, named "Tramp, big azz dog) and as the little dog runs up to me, TRAMP growls and runs like crazy over to me and I am thinking
this little dog is dead meat.. stops.. looks at that weiner dog who is barking like crazy..
and pisses all over that dog.. saturates the damned thing.. woman kinda yells at me???

They left the yard not saying anything except waving their fists at me.. and it seems to me in all that histeria "Hell they might be in one of those religious groups and I bet they were offended". Never saw them again .. LOL

We have a tri-colored Collie, Shetland Sheep Dog and a Roomba robotic vacuum. The Sheltie was the runt and is very small and very smart, took me less than ½ hour to teach it to do 12 weave poles.
