Lite rides ride this season. . .

Its been a few years now since the Utah Idaho shoot out between Freak & the 383. . .this season maybe a good time to get another ride together. . .maybe a bit different though. . .lets do a "lite" ride. . .no turbo'd apex's. . .no gay race up a hard pack hill. . .riders who know to ride in the steep'n'deep. . .

Don't want a big group, just a select few. . .here are some minimum requirements:

1) Body weight no more than 210 lbs. . .lay off the gut bomb burritos. ..
2) 800cc min
3) Sled dry weight no more than 450.
4) No turbo's. . .no time for tweaking the flux capacitor. ..
5) 159 min track. . .unless the sled is under 450lbs. . .
6) No polished tunnels
7) Beacon & ABS required

One might ask, "Why all these requirements 383?" Good question junior. . .because those who go on this ride will be privileged a guided tour of the 383 National Reserve. . .getting in is the easy part. . .getting out is where the ride begins. . .

whats with the 800cc 159" minimum, u scared that a little 488 with a 121 under it might teach you a thing or to in the steep and deep... its only been in these last couple of years that everybody THINKS they need a big motor and a big track... lets see what happens when you just duct tape the throttle... like your SUPPOSED too

i guess that sucks for me. im 230, 6' 2" so im not a fat lazy rider if thats what your trying to stay away from. I have an m1000 so it doesnt weigh 450 but it is under 500. It has a 156" so I guess that wont work. so anybody that doesnt fit in his "requirements" wants to de a group ride let me know. ill take you to 208 land.

hmm, ill take you up on that. im 160, ride a 144 thats turned by a 600...

oh, and i have no idea how much it weighs....

ill ride. just wanna ride...not good enough to get into a full out hillclimb shoot out but guess i can hold my own. ride a stock 04 REV 151 800....6'2, 155 soaking wet. lol ya im skinny.

I guess I'll have go to with your group also, I don't have an ABS pack so can't partake in the great 383 ride. I'm hoping to make it to McCall to ride this year, I've wanted to go for years but never had a good opportunity.

For anyone considering this ride you may want to have a requirement of your own.
That being riding attire... Don't want to look like a bunch of fegs chasing around 383 in a rainbow colored outfit!

Thats why I say this will be a select few. . .there were well over 200 sleds that showed up at the last ride. . .and I am concerned that if I took that many sleds into the 383 National Reserve. . .it could disrupt the eco system. For those who can go. . .this maybe their first experience of a ride in the 3rd dimension. . .therefore. . .I have to be careful who goes as it runs the risk of overdosing. . .which can have life long side effects.

Hmmm? Guess I am out! I weigh 225, 6'2" and I ride an 08 XP with a 154" Oh, and it weighs less than 450 lbs and the tunnel is polished!

Why no polished tunnels?

I like all your excuses not to have turbo's or 4 strokes. The one you forgot to put in there that actually is the truth is that you don't want to get spanked actually riding the steep and deep....I'll go a head and add that for you.
