I was up there on Sunday and the snow was tracked up. Not too much powder. There was a group of 5 and my buddy and I in the lake bowl high marking. I wouldn't say there is a lot of snow, compared to last year anyways. My buddy was hill climbing and hit a rock on the hill. Nothing major just skipped a ski off the rock.

looks like lincoln got some snow yesterday. 3 of us going tommorrow morning. will be parking at copper creek parking lot will be in a red yukon with a dragon sticker in the back window if anyone else wants to go with.

New Snow

Lincoln got about 3"-4" of new snow mid week. Friday and Saturday riding was good and saw quite a few riders. Trails are hard but off trail riding is still pretty good. 7 of us rode from Big Mountain through the burn to Stonewall Sat. Wind was blowing hard on top so stayed 30 seconds and came down and finished the day at Martin's playing in the trees. Blizzard started Sunday morning about 8 with lots of wind, snow and low visibility. Warm weather forecasted this week.

Wind loaded

Anybody else see the (3) riders or marks left in the lake bowl 2 weekends ago?........good setup snow and you were able to climb.....but these guys were side-cutting and hitting 2 at a time climbing------to me that whole face looked suuuuuuper wind-loaded and ready to go.......we stayed in the trees and ate............but thought for sure they were bringing it down................just curious what otheres thought/think

We're going up Friday night and staying the weekend at a cabin. Don't know where we will ride , kinda see what things look like and go from there, Ken.

I'd go up with you Ken but Kyron and I are heading to Ennis to ride in the Gravely range. Never rode there so I am looking for a good time. Good luck hope the snow is good for you.

Sounds about typical. Last year I watched it happen with a guy stuck on the lake bowl hill and some ###hole marking over him on a rx-1 turbo.

Rode cooke last weekend at one point I saw 5 mid west riders sidehilling the same bowl at the same time with 10 of their buddies sitting below directly in the avalanche path.

You need to go somewhere else. Climbing then the bowls. Everything else in Lincoln, unless with a Local, will be trail riding. Some playing but tree stumps are starting to show. Good Luck
