We checked the snow first as always. Would never touch a hill unless I absolutely thought it was safe.

So are you saying you dug a pit and found it to be safe?
It would be nice if that's true because then she "might" not slide and we still might have some April climbing.
Think I stay off of it for awhile though....like maybe April.

I am in Lincoln and checked with the FS. They say it is unstable. I don't think anyone other than the FS dug a pit but I am not an expert on avalanches (nor do I want to be) so I probably shouldn't be saying to much here.

We are looking to come out next week for a few days. We are headed to ATL tomorrow to get 4 trucks and get them back here. Keep the updates coming.

Elevation in the Lincoln and Seely Lake area?

I'm heading up with S&W tours out of Colorado and was wondering what the Trailhead elevations are. We'll also be riding the Bozeman area if anyone knows those elevations. I just need to determine how much weight I need to add to my clutch weights. From this post I sure hope you guy's start getting some fresh up their. Thanks
