Left in the backcountry

The friends i ride with would die trying to save me and i would do the same for them. leave someone on the hill? you have got to be kidding me? we never get separated for more than 15 minutes. you can die or get seriously injured in 1 second out there on these machines, to act like that is completely beyond unacceptable.

things can go bad in no time in the mtns.

1-2 minute rule, if you dont see your buddy in that time, you go looking for them(whether you know where they are or not).

they sound like a couple of cowards to me.

I saw them and the van, I may have seen them riding double on the orange. Good info for sure.........

van info

please post info of "this" van ..so know who to avoid.

thank you

pics would be great

We are taking this very seriously. We will be discussing it with all parties involved.

As Vice President, it's unfortunate that this has happened, and we will be investigating this event. The club stresses to all members that we are all responsible for each other's safety. This is not the way we ride, and not the way we promote the sport.

It was good talking to you this afternoon.

Randy.

that sucks, you can't fix stupid. but I would paint free candy on there van next time you see it.

Randy

Has anyone seen Randy????A common question on a days ride with you.Maybe you have some habits you can work on to prevent this from happening also?Did you install a inverter on your sled to run the new found treasure:face-icon-small-sho?Did you show youre friends your tree well trick? The 3" has a tendancy of separating you from the other guys. :hail:Respectfully, a riding partner that leaves no one behind!

It was good to meet ya.

Almost everytime i have been to Greenwater this year, we have helped someone out, that was not with our group, and after commiting to helping them, never left till they were good to go. And these have always been people we dont even know.
I always ride with the same people and we all are the same way.
I couldnt imagine losing sight of a riding buddy and then just leaving. there is no way I could sleep at night, knowing i had done that to someone. Same goes for offroading, have never left a missing/ broken down rig on the trail, even when it meant multiple trips back and forth to the offroad park with trailers to shuttle rigs home.

In the end it turned out fine, but what if it hadnt?????

Crazy story!Glad you got out safe.

You have to be very careful with who you choose to ride with in the backcountry. I learned that lesson this year as well.

saturdays stuck that cause all the drama. Going down the back side to turn around.
