Just spent 5 days at Lava Mountain lodge riding with Cameron from 3c Guiding.
Just had a post a note about our experience.
We arrived late, however they had prearranged for us to get into our room and turned the heat up to a comfortable temp before we arrived. They even made us some food even though the kitchen was technically closed. Greatly appreciated after 17 hours on the road.
Everyone that we dealt with was just awesome. Guy at the front counter even asked mid-way through our stay if there was anything he could do to make our stay better.
Buddy had to use the heated shop on his sled and they even jumped in to help wrench on it a bit. That was not expected.
If you're looking for a high end-spa retreat, this is not your place.
However, if you're looking for a place to stay with awesome food, great prices, ride from your door, fuel, etc and just awesome people to deal with, then I high recommend this place.
Was truly just an awesome experience and had to write. Many thanks to all the staff for making our trip exactly what we had hoped for. Looking forward to coming back out already and we're not even home yet.

He is the Man!!! Lots of fun and a great place to stay, the first time we went out there the snowmobile that he grooms the trail with just got burnt up in the shed and they were cleaning things up. Yes great place to stay, people at the bar let us hook my camera up to the big flat screen and look at pic's and play videos!! Cant ask for a nicer place, and you can pack alot of people in the house to get the cost down, and with gas right there, its a win win.
