First off - I'm new here. I'm a mod over at HCS and posted the same question. Someone recommended I post here, as I may get better response.
My wife, myself, and another couple are headed to Tahoe from 4/2-4/6. We're very experienced riders (been riding since I was 2 and am now 38!) on the 'flat lands' of Michigan.
We picked Tahoe to get some powder riding in - that way the women can hang out at the casino / spa and drink wine while the boys go play. (We're staying at Montbleau and will have a rental SUV)
I've done Tahoe before and LOVED the views and snow. I rode with Zeyphr Cove. While fun - I'm looking for a sled with a little more power than a 380 fan. I'm thinking a 600cc liquid or equivalent.
Also, since we're unfamiliar with the riding areas - we'd love to have a guide. Probably the smart thing to do with the threat of avalanches, getting lost, etc...
Can anyone recommend a rental place? We'll be bringing our own gear. Our rental car won't have a hitch either.
Thanks!
JJ
