I am as big of a fan of Alice Cooper as you will ever find.
What do you think people thought of him over 40 years ago?
Fair to say he is still relevant today as all of his critics are gone into obscurity.
I admire Gaga for forging her own path, thus creating a market for her product. We likely wouldn't know her name had she simply dressed & behaved "normally".
Like it or not she is entertaining which seems like an obvious prerequisite for an entertainer.

Oh man....saw Alice in Anchorage Alaska, 26 years ago. (I had to do the math.) Most awesome thing ever. I didn't wash my jean jacket for weeks, all the fake blood on it. (Front row, girlfriend had connections.) The guards had to hail us over the wall, we were about to pass out from the heat. Good times.
