Sure starting to see a bunch of butt-hurt D8 and XP riders so far this year. This whole stock to stock thing isn't quite working out so far this year especially for the XP fellas from what we're seeing. The M8 looks like the right choice this year for the 800 bragging rights eh.

Typical ski doo rider opened mindednes. Before I get jumped on I said typical not all. Is it beyond your comprehention that cat or polaris could actually make a good sled. The m8s have been very reliable sled since 07 and the m7s before that and the m8's seemed to be performing great this year. not putting down the dragon or xp they seem to be performing well also. I am bias to cat but I can admit when the compition built a good product. Remember have a open mind.

Why is it that your always talking out of your butt? And then trying to pass it off as if you know what the hell your talking about. When and if you ever ride a sled, then, feel free to enlighten us on your opinion....... Until then,,,,,,,,,,,STFU!!!!!:beer;

Thanks, I'll sell mine today and buy one just like yours.

Sorry there buttercup, I didn't say I had one , I said they were starting to look like the 800 to beat in 09, except yours of course. A little insecure there eh pal. LOL. Some of you XP guys are awesome riders, on this 4m anyway.

OK here goes dumm-***.

You're a complete moronic know-it-all, and yapping in defense of your XP as the best option for everyone, in spite of its shortcomings, makes it evident to everyone.

There; CONSIDER YOURSELF ENLIGHTENED.

PS. U STFUYFC.

Well sweet pea, I don't have an XP and I don't own an 800. I'm good with my security, just not the moronic posts.

Holy crap, I think we've just entered the twilight zone Slick, if you've actually seen or even heard of anything beating an XP !!! Now, I love my Poo's, but appreciate the advances made by all the brands. Just don't try to tell the XP boys anything can out-do their tin foil junk. (Except for maybe a well settled snow drift or a pine cone - LOL !!!!!)

The original post was an observation as to the competitveness between the sleds so far this year that I've seen.

From what you've seen.
What exactly have you seen?
Are you talking pro-racing, or just seat of the pants riding?

What was this post all about anywho? out of stock sled's the Xp own's so dont denie it? because weve all seen it perform... Me myslef would never buy one but...... on the other hand all i have to say is the stock XP own's!!
Unless you have a turbo lol.....:D

well boys! as a former xp owner! (now riding a big fat yamaha turbo.) i will say the xp was not a tin foil pos as poo poo riders like to think! and is still hands down the best boondocking sled ive ever ridin!!!!!! ps hi slick!!!!! whats ya ridin this year? lol

Just an assortment of sleds and riders in the mountains, doing what we do, little bit of everything. Don't get me wrong, I'll say it again, we've got great choices this year, whatever you choose. I'm just surprised how much the cats have improved, sorry that threatens some of you doo fellas, but you better get used to it. :D

Hey there JBB. Got a couple good rides this year, depends on the conditions.

johnny be bad, as a Polaris owner, I don't mind saying that the XP is a very capable sled. One of my buddies rides one and it does very well. I just can't get used to how they handle and (for me) how difficult they seem to be as far as getting them to initiate a turn/carve in the powder. My IQ just seems much, much easier to me. Now, I've been told you just have to spend some time on them and everything else will seem terrible by comparison. Well, why would I waste riding time fighting to get used to an XP (or Rev for that matter) when the IQ feels so natural by comparison ???

PS: The "tin foil" comment by me was just a joke, although our quest for lightweight sleds has brought us to the XP which does have components that will bend easier because of our desire for "lightness".
