I just wanted to say Thanks alot...we (me and my 8 year old son) went to Dan's booth at the Edmonton snowmobile show last night and before I bought anything Dan gave my son two posters both signed, and made sure that Randy signed them as well. Dan and Randy both took the time to make my son feel like he was the only person there. My son could'nt stop talking about how great it was to actually meet guys from team thunderstruck. (he's watched all the thunderstruck movies 100 times) that poster is now his most prized possesion. So, here's to ya!!! for making a eight year old boy feel very special and for representing this sport to the fullest. Thank-you (one proud papa)

I agree 100%! My daughters all love Dans antics in the sled videos and when we went to the snowshow last year I told them they might meet him. When we hit his booth he was giving out posters and teasing the kids and having a great time. Of course, I ended up buying Krazy Canadian gear for each of them - hahaha
I later took a picture of all of them in their t-shirts and hats and Dan proceeded to post it on his website - now the girls figure they are rockstars.
You will not find a nicer guy than Dan IMHO

oh - and Randy is ok too ;-)
LMAO

Both these individuals are a Positive icon to the SPORT,wish there was more of them. Cheers Red Dog. o bye the way the Kids are the Future.

I had the exact same experience when I took my 3 year old son to the show last year. Randy came over with some posters for my son as well as a Yamaha lanyard. My son was on cloud nine! He still has the posters on his wall and has to have his lanyard on (cuz it is so cool) when he goes for a scooter ride!

Cudos to you Randy! Truly a class act. I don't think you realize how much it means to the little guys! Keep it up

Braden

At the Vancouver B.C. area snow show, my daughters have had the same personal greetings from them. And when we tell them we all ride Yamaha's, they jest about the brotherhood, but are happy to see you there whatever you drive or aspire to.

Only rode with Randy once ...when I worked for Elkholm back in 02 or something pretty good dude

No shocker here.....Dan is one of the coolest guys you will ever meet!! A great rider and a blast to be around.....looking forward to April in BC!

Haven't met Randy but have heard the same about him.....nice job guys!

Never met Randy. Dan is a helluva guy and great rider. Its good to hear they are positive ambassadors of our sport at the shows as well.:beer;

:beer;:beer;:beer;
to both of them. They are truly great ambassadors to the sport of sledding!

If someone has the article of them when they took that little guy and his family sledding a few years back (I think it was SnoWest or SnoRiders) could you post that?

It really showed how big their hearts truly are!
