KLIM warranty, what a joke.......

AND POOF it reappears. Should never have gone anywhere, I read this all again just to see if there was a reason the mods pulled it, yep still not seeing it.

I posted this in the other thread also but wanted to put it here too in case one or the other got deleted.:)

Gees, I wish I would have done more research before buying my new powdercross gloves. $89 is a lot for a set of gloves and when I purchased them I certainly expected to have them last. After reading many replies of failed product and warrenty claims I think I am going to take my gloves back to the dealer that sold them to me and get a refund. Luckily I have not worn them yet and I've not removed any stickers etc. Sorry Klim I work to hard for my money to not buy a product that works and stands behind their warrenty. Who else makes this style of glove that is water proof, durable, and will stand behind their warrenty?

yes $89 is a lot for a pair of gloves, I bought mine expecting them to last and they didn't make it 2 months and they were junk

as a former klim dealer have never had issues with there sled stuff. But there dirt gloves do have issues . My wife uses them on barrel horses and you all know that it takes a firm grip to hold on to to peices of leather ha ha they are worn out. I couldnt put a changing room to keep there stuff in my shop so they said see ya after 8 years thanks klim and i sold alot of stuff they didnt look at numbers but that i didnt have a changing room cool

I went out and bought some new gloves similar to the powercross.. its those fly gloves somone posted up. They run a couple sizes small though? I bought their largest XXXL and they fit good. I wore and XL in the Klim gloves.

Let me see if I can find a link for them......I will be testing them out this weekend.

Oh guess what...they were 35$ waterproof/breathable. very similar feel to the powercross, with a little bit more of a rubbery, tacky feel to the grips.

here is a link to them for 32$

Wife's freeride pant after three rides, holes rubbed through the Knees! Not from what u might think, but from the tank, & she's 110lbs!!! Got the call today, they'll fix them for $50!!!!!!!!!! Thanks, but no thanks I'll be callin HMK!!!!!!!!!!

Good Luck With That! I purchased 3 pairs of HMK Boots years ago, half way through the first season two pairs lost the bottoms and on the other pair the lace eyelets pulled out. I wasn't worried because every one said how good the warranties are and how HMK takes care of you. Well after a couple of phone calls, then being told they would call me back and them not calling me. I turned to KLIM and never looked back!

Then last season my buddy buys some HMK pants and on the first ride the seam ripped out. He told me he wasn't worried because of the warranty. I just LMFAO!!! and put my KLIM gear on!!!!

I for one have had excellent experience with all of my Klim gear. I've got 2 seasons on it plus 100 miles so far this year (2,200 mountain miles total) and its all still as good as the day I got it. I've been thrown off my sled, bailed, dug holes in the snow with my bare gloves, walked in running creeks, you name it and I have never been un-happy with the performance of the gear. After a couple of those experiences, I couldn't believe I wasn't looking at a hand sized hole in my gear from my thigh grabbing a bar hook during an 'abrupt' stop. I don't purposely thrash my stuff, but I do use it to its potential.

Tomahawk coat
Togwotee bibs
Togwotee gloves
Adrenaline boots
and the Klim socks

I paid full retail price (nearly $1,000) expecting a quality product, Can't say I'm anything less than extremely impressed:D

Not all experiences are bad... I for one am a Kilm customer for life based on MY OWN Experience:D:beer;

We are talking warranty experiences here? Do you have something regarding a warranty experience to add?

Yes all my Klim gear that did not fall apart is great...

You got me on that one, I have not had to have a warranty claim.

However, after seeing all the experiences regarding their gear being "less than impressive" I felt it was still good to add my experience.
