Kirkland cops dont like..........

Hummmmmm.........

I just can't imagine why the Police wouldn't want you riding on the streets.....let's see, no license for the street, no signals, no rearview, no doubt you were observing the posted. I don't know if you have insurance or not, but there is another hit.

I can understand the desire, and I may or may not have done the same thing myself once, but I sure as he11 wouldn't wonder why I got a ticket.

I get a kick out of some folks on here. They raise he11 if the police act on someone elses complaint and raise it again if they don't respond to thier complaint.

I guess it's just tough to mature.

Memories...

This is kirkland!!!! I lived there for 25 years and it has become a mini bellevue with a bunch of city people living there. The 5 arces I grew up on now has 13 houses on it and all the woods around have been mowed down.I used to ride my dirtbike to 7-11 and the police would just ask that I stayed off the pavement.

I grew up there myself. We got away with plenty too in those days. Probably helped that Dad was the City Manager. :D You talking the 7-11 near Totem Lake? Remember the old lady that had the farm on 124th that was always in trouble for neglecting her animals? Can't remember the name...anyhow, we went over there once and her monkey took after my brother  Stange bunch. Didn't the city end up with that property?

We lived on the same street as that old lady.100th and 124th..She was actually very nice once you got to know her.(but she did neglect her animals and that was sad to see.)The city did take all her land from her,$2,000.000.00 worth. They put a fire station on it and made the rest walking trails and wooded areas.

I would ride to totem lake or up to rose hill with no probs on my dirt bike. I cant imangine trying that now.

She was nice, just a bit strange. We were on 108th & 124th.

New meaning to road ride

My brother came over my place and picked up his sled last night.

Fueled it up at a major gas station at a 5 way intersection.
Most people were cheering him on.

We cruised all over West Seattle & even sledded along Alki Beach.:beer;

How often does that happen?!?

Passed a cop in Lincoln Park and he did nothing.

I remember back in the early 80's when the big storms hit a couple of people in Skykomish would ride their sleds around town and the sheriff would send an officer from king county up to harass them when people complained. What a waste of the sheriff's time. Swampy:D:D

around the side streets off of 7th street went down and got a coffee at the chevron..... by the time i made it home he was hot on my ***... are you at the top of the hill on 7 th with the 700 rmk in the front yard??
