Kirkland cops dont like..........

It is great to see someone learn on there own--I tried warning ya all!!

Especially after the idiot killed someone on a sled last night up on the plateu:eek: That means --put the sleds up at home--thought we would have a day or two we might get away with it, but now they will not be forgiving:mad:

H20SKE...

Dragon 08-between you and the scurge that is the the guys with no front liscense plates the Kirkland cops are real busy.

Cops in North Bend just waived and asked where the best snow was,....

Kirkland is a No Fun Area,,,,

We always hoped it would snow enough here were wife had to ride sled to hospitol and cop would have to let here go you know life or death ! lol:)

Maple Valley cops laughed at me

I went for a spin Sunday night too... The Maple Valley cops told me to stay off of SR169 and make sure all the kids I was giving rides to were wearing a helment (which they were). But, the cop lives about 5 houses down from me and recognized me. He did tell me not to let my 2 boys fire up their sleds. All was well...

I really do not understand this mentality. Did you ask the officer what the issue was? Maybe if the cities plowed ALL the streets so cars could get through they would have a reason to not allow sleds.

In Pennsylvania the LEO and Paramedics look for people with sleds to provide transportation during major storms.

It is actually a civic duty there, yet here they are concerned about what? The noise?

Maybe we need to ask what the police what the issue is?

These idiots driving cars with bald, summer tires who have no skill in winter driving since they are from countries that don't have snow are free to reek havoc on the other commuters, but sleds are considered dangerous?

The issue is liability. He prob was out just riding around, for fun.If he was going to the store to get food for someone who is stuck at home I bet the cops would not have a prob.

My brother is a cop and he says they have to say something if they see someone joy riding around in a busy area.(downtown kirkland is prob busy..lol..) if they see someone and don't do anything and that sled ends up hitting someone they are liable for not protecting the public.

Plus,ya gotta remember....This is kirkland!!!! I lived there for 25 years and it has become a mini bellevue with a bunch of city people living there. The 5 arces I grew up on now has 13 houses on it and all the woods around have been mowed down.I used to ride my dirtbike to 7-11 and the police would just ask that I stayed off the pavement.Do that now and I guarantee jail time..

Ouch.

I cleaned the cobwebs out of my wife's RMK on the side streets in SLC Friday night. When I got back my wife had the video camera out and a beer waiting. Damn I love that woman! :beer; I don't know if the cops would have been so welcoming.

The best thing was it was snowing so hard my tracks were covered in a few minutes!
