Went in to kakwa today. Awesome day! lots of fresh pow and bluebird. Went upt to flat top and me and my buddy were the only tracks there. Too bad my camera quit working
Where is flat top? how do I get there?

Lost ski-doo backpack and phone
Hey guys and Gal's
I'm trying to help out some friends that were in Kakwa Jan.2nd and left their backpack in the Cabin by mistake... Went back the next morning to get it and it was gone.
Did anyone happen to pick it up thinking someone at the parking lot would be waiting for it?
These folks aren't worried about the backpack itself, but would like to get the SAT PHONE (work phone) that was in the pack back. (Reward offered)

I know how to get to Kakwa park, I know how to get to Mt. Ruth, I know how to get to Jarvis Lakes, I know how to get to Babette Lake, I just don't know where much else is.
I do believe that Jarvis Lakes are closed to Sledding...
Did you come in from the B.C. side or the Alberta side? Flat Top would be one of the first riding areas from the B.C. side other then Saddle creek. If you know where Wishaw lake is Flat top would be the first big meadow on the left leading to a big avy chute. Hopefully this helps
BC side, I know where Wishaw Lake is, I have seen tracks heading off the corner of the road north of the lake.
Is this the spot?
A picture is worth a thousand words.... Thats the trail in, Flattop is the trail to the left over the ridge which leads to the flattop glacier on the back side.
Missing Back Pack
My wife and I were at the gas drop and overheard some young kids bragging that they had picked up a back pack full of beer at the cabin, it was dark and one of them had a green colored suit on and was riding a zx chassis sled that is all that we can remember.

Was in at Kakwa on Saturday, good riding but one of the hills between the stetson and the parking lot (on the Alberta side) was pure ice. Take chains and (or) use caution.
