At the back bumper on a 154. Might be a little more on a longer tunnel but not much.

With this type of setup, what could I expect to gain for boondocking and general mountain riding?![]()
Awesome! Thanks for the infoControl, speed, comfort. The ability to set the skid as needed to face the terrain instead of a 1 size fits all approach. For instance if you need to climb through some trees and then eventually out a steep chute, you can adjust to gain control and keep the skis down, keep more track on the snow, and climb up and out. or if you are going to attack a creek bottom and need to bounce around, you adjust the skid to allow the front end to dance and have a lot more fun. Literally within seconds, you can adjust the type of control you need.
These skids are a great improvement over stock, even if you leave the coupling knob in the middle its going to be far superior to stock. But if you take the time to learn the suspension, coupling settings for specific terrain, and adjust it you will be getting the full value out of the skid and leaving your buddies in the dust!![]()
