Just moved to Colorado - Leadville

Naw. Cause he is thinking of the wrong sled. The ONLY person to pull me back with a seized motor was XC after I tried the BigBore game. I ripped that POS RKT crap out and went back to a stock 800 motor.

But me having to replace motors on my stuff pales in comparison to the PROs.

XC had motor failure
Mule had motor failure (on a sled with less than 500 miles)
Tec, I think that poor guy lost count
SkiB, he's lost count too.

Then there are the guys that traded their 2013 Pros in for *gasp*, the 2013 cats.

And then VOHK dumped his Pro and rode the Cat for the remainder of the season. hmmmmmmmmmm?

*Disclaimer* If anyone gets all butthurt, just remember that it's all in fun. We need some rideable snow.

Well shoot, all you had to say is that VOHK was riding a CAT last season...NOW I HAVE TO GO SELL MY POS PRO'S AND BUY A MORE "RELIABLE" CAT OR DOO:face-icon-small-dis:face-icon-small-dis

Sorry for robbing your thread and giving crap to PJ... welcome to CO!

It's just that he doesn't like me much ever since his kid sister and I did naughty, naughty things one night. The kicker was it was on top of a Pro and not a Doo...that really gets to him:face-icon-small-win

LOL. Guess it's a good thing your such a petite little fella (Bieber like:laser:), my sis prolly thought your were a chick. Cause she's a crack snacker.

And yeah, it's fun to give the good natured guys crap here. I can't give MR Top Gun too much crap about Poo, he was riding that junk before the Golden Boy said it was cool, revolutionary and would change the face of Mountain Riding forever.

Wait a sec, he said that about Cat. So confused. Lets just get snow and go riding. Until then, ducks be dyin.

Please excuse me for heisting your thread for a minute....

In 1976 Bristol Excavatiing from Frisco Colorado was hired to do some digging at Climax mine. The engineers plotted out where Buddy was to dig, and dig he did. BUT, the engineers plotted it wrong and Buddy dug into one of those huge main air lines.....BOOM!!!!!

Blast was so violent it not only broke the Backhoes windows but shredded the hydraulic lines on the backhoe! As I remember it shut down the whole mine for a few hours. Buddy was shook up but ok, and he wasn't in any big hurry to resume digging......LOL!

Be careful up there!

Nothing wrong with the ole M7. Nice and light and the chassis can still hang. I know the injector type was different at lower elevations than the one at higher, but I don't think it's a big issue. Your going to lose a lot of power coming up to 10K'. I had great results with a set of twin pipes, some clutching, and a fuel box. Great motor to throw a turbo on and you might find a used one around, since it's an older sled. 2,800 miles is a long way to go but you might find someone on here heading that way. Or sell it there and pick up 1 or 2 year old sled for under 10K.

Leave my Pros out this, almost all of the issues I've had are turbo related. Even after my Dragon ate all those pistons, it ran another 800 miles w/o the turbo before it lost a rod bearing.

Pro's plural. How many backup pro's do you have now Dave? Or do you consider it "collecting" like works of art. lol J/K, if I had your money I'd own a few spares to. Seems the turbo pro's hold up better than the stockers.

Not a problem... That escalated pretty quickly...

I'm always careful.

Leave my Pros out this,.

Pros? as in plural?

Thanks for the tip on the injectors.. I was kind of debating the turbo route, I've kind of always wanted one, but really had no reason in the flat lands..

I think we have that all figured out now. That place has been entirely rebuilt and the infrastructure is all brand new. Most of the old stuff has been demo'd and is def. out of service.
