Man I just got the call my sled is already in. Little early for me, late oct would of been fine. Can a guy wait to pick these sleds up.

30 days is the limit from when it hit the dealers inventory not when he received it at the shop.

Yes you can push the pick up date to the right. I stopped by my delaer last week and let them know I was looking at Oct for my pick up date.

The only thing they asked if I was going to finance it..

Same thing happened to me about this time last year when my Pro came in. Usually snowcheck states by the end of september if it is in.

I agree, a little early indeed. I guess it's better than showing up in February! :face-icon-small-coo

Mine is in Rochester Mn. Not planning on picking it up for awhile,To much other stuff going on.

Any dealers on here??? Just curious on how dealers pay for their inventory??
If they need to pay for the inventory up front, it only makes sense for them to ask you to pick up the machine.
Or is there a grace period for them to pay the manufacturer?
Otherwise, they could have hundreds of thousands of dollars tied up holding our machines.

2013 SNOW CHECK SELECT

It states on my 2013 SnowCheck Select-US order form that....Upon notification, SnowCheck Snowmobiles should (not shall) be picked up within 45 days. The big word there is ....should.....
It also states that the SnowCheck order is non-refundable AND non-transferable. So I will do what I always have done in the past. I will pick it up when I can.:face-icon-small-win

Our flooring starts on the sled after 30 days so it would be nice if the sled would be picked up before costing us more $

You make a good point, but that's the cost of doing business. Remember, it costs me more money to pick it up early too! I don't want to start insuring a new sled in August when I can't use it until November/December. You would think as far as North America goes, the sleds would start showing up in Alaska first, then work their way south.

honestly, i dont see how this is such a huge problem. Getting in too late I can understand because you lose part of the season. but getting it too early? really?? this way you have time to set it up the way you want it, study it so you know how to field strip it, maybe have a few BBQs to show it off to the friends, plus your season of garage boondocking can start early! and honestly, if you cant afford 2 additional months of insurance then you probably shouldn't be snowchecking 2013 sleds. from Polaris' perspective, maybe they had a huge amount of orders this season and needed to start production early so they can get the last ones out before people start complaining about sleds being late. like what was stated earlier, you have a couple weeks to pick it up, maybe your dealer will let you store it at your house before the paperwork says you took delivery... i suppose it depends on the relationship with your dealer. either way i think this is a rediculous complaint. :face-icon-small-con jmho

Boy no matter when they come in it seems that there is always some one not happy with the date. They show up in DEC. and it's to late, they show up in OCT. and there's no snow, they show up in AUG and now no body wants their sled LOL. I guess you can't make everyone happy!!
I don't know how some of you do it but it only cost me about 200 bucks a year to insure my sled for $13000, so it really makes no dif to me when it would show up. I would rather have it at my house so I could sit and drool on it then leave it at a dealer and cost them money JIMO.
