Yajustneverknow,

Is there recall on 2008 Summit Everest for the track? One side(edge) of my roomates track is worn really bad, and it looks to be adjusted correctly... ???

He told me he contacted AMDS with no response from the lady in service. I told him to deal with ERCC for all service related inquires/work.

btw - thx for the quote on my sled this summer, everything worked out in my favor.

Thanks,
Travis

There is a known issue with these tracks. They used a hex head bolt inside the tunnel and if you look at the new ones they have a rounded head. If your friend has warranty I can make the change for him. Just did it on a sled a couple of weeks ago. If he doesn't have warranty left I'll have to look at it, take some pics and make a call to BRP and see if they will do a "goodwill" claim. In either case I'd be happy to see what I could do.

My pleasure Trav, glad you came out ahead on the deal.

Talked to Hal yesterday, the trailer is too short inside, otherwise it would have worked for us. Thanks for the heads up anyways. Doo you guys have any skid plates in stock for the rev, in red and white?

AKsledhead - are you interested in a used one. My brother-in-law was thinking about selling his 4 place enclosed.

Who ever called today here at the shop?????? your cell reception was REALLY bad and I only heard like everything 5th word but I did hear "snowest"
SO please call back. I couldn't understand the message

Also, Mike it was really nice to meet you today, look forward to seeing you again!

Dave

Update!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2009 800 motors have a solenoid update, get em in and get em back out the same day. Most of you that have affected sleds should have received the notice by now
Give me a call so we can get you set up to get it done!!!!!

Dave, do you have some stiffer front shock springs that I can put on my 08 Summit rev? If so, can I bring the shocks in and have you swap them out for me since I don't have a spring tool?

We usually carry stiffer springs, call Morgan in the parts department and if he has them and you buy em from us I'll swap them out for you during my lunch break......ha.....like I get lunch :P

hey dave i picked up my new sled last night, its a 2007 race chassis with a 2007 summit 800r motor. was there any recalls on the 800r motors?

Brandon,

The 07 800 motors were known for blowing a inner crank bearings. The first of the motors the tolerences were too tight and the bearing would sieze. If they went they did it within the first few hundred miles. Other then that a pretty solid motor

I stopped in at Team CC in Eagle River yesterday and picked up the new adjustable limiter strap kit for the XP. They have by far the best selection of parts and accessories hanging on the wall that I have seen in Alaska. I was impressed.

ALL 2009 800R Power TEK models
PROBLEM
DPM solenoid valve may be stuck by corrosion.
If this occurs, the engine will run rich in warm
temperature conditions and may be emitting pollutants
in excess of Federal emissions standards.
SOLUTION
Inspect DPM solenoid valve, clean and remove
corrosion buildup if required.
