OH thats right it is YOUR trail only right?
Part of 4x4ing is getting stuck, some 4x4 rigs will go further then your snowmobile will
Here in MT it is illegal to ride anything but a tracked vehicle on groomed trails. I don't care if you are on horses, atv's or bicycles, if you're on it in an illegal vehicle out of season, I hate you and will be waiting at the bottom with the sherrif or FS Ranger. I have sacrificed riding days to wait it out at the trailhead with rangers. I have caught up to law breakers, snapped their photos with my phone, then turned around rode out, loaded up, driven to cell reception areas, called the rangers and went back to the trailhead and waited. Yeah , it sucks that i'm not riding, but the look on their faces when they see the ranger is priceless. They know they were breaking the law, and they thought it was funny. Most of them don't think so after their rigs are impounded. What don't people understand! CLOSED IS CLOSED!

In Mud? or on rocks? LMAO
It does sound a little like the radical enviros( I'm enviro- but not radical I hope)
that want to limit the areas we can make noise and tear up the snow though.
If it's a groomed snowmobile trail they shouldn't be there in a 4X4. It irritates me when 4X4's get stuck and tear up the snow on the forest roads, but they have a right to be there- even if they are idiots and always wanna borrow my shovel.
Always seem to have little kids and old folks and insufficient clothes and equipment too. But they aren't lucky enough to have sleds and just wanna play in the snow. I used to do the same thing in fresh snow(not on trails), but learned real quick and hard about rotten snow. 4x4 season is over when the deep drifts
crust over unless you have something special- about 1 in 10,000 4x4's can play in that stuff. It does provide a lot of amusement at the parking lot seeing all the bad-*** giant trucks spinning their wheels and working so hard.
100 yards from the road!
Are you really that friggen stupid? I would like to see even one 4x4 go where sleds go in the depth of winter....

Sleds get stuck so do trucks, they can both be built to go in deep snow, water, mud, hell even asphalt
So should I hate snowmobilers who take up my precious drag strip then?
That was my point, that is all... I think you get the just of it by now.
And this proves that there will ALWAYS be at least ONE on any public forum....can you say "apples and oranges?"
