Jaws or HPS

i am torn on which can i want now..almost had a deal on the super q...So now i'm not sure which can is better jaws or hps...I might eventually put the PA head on but as of now just gonna run it stock...I know and read that the HPS works great with the PA head but if i do get the PA head will it work just as good with jaws?

i like my jawz, fit and finish was great, it is LOUD!!! sounds awesome but loud, maybe to loud. didnt notice a sh!t bit of diff for how the sled ran

I can't stand the loud cans, they get annoying real quick.

Amen Brother...:brick:

I have switched out of a couple cans in the past. One that even performed better than all the rest on another brand of sled, only because I couldn't stand to be on it or around it for an entire day.

Are there any performance gains to adding an aftermarket can on the Pro?

No performace gains, some actually hurt you because lack of back flow.

The stock can isnt a bad design and doesnt restrict like previous cans, looks and sounds like a turd though.

i got mine from jake, he owns mildtowild out of mandan North dakota. i have in the past ordered straight from jawz but it was kind of a hassle. if you go on bismanonline.com and go under snowmobiles he has adds on there for stuff his number should be there. im not tryn to sell stuff for him just tellin u where i got mine. im sure there is many more dealrs that are great. there should be info on jawz website for dealers.

I like my HPS

I'm with the others

It has a nice deep tone, with some bark, but not annoying.

Makes the sled sound healthy instead of just annoyingly loud

cans

I wish you would buy the JAWS can. That way we all don't sound like a bunch of clones. I too ride a HPS can, and I love it.

the Jawz can is cool sounding but like i said its LOUD, i like it but others WILL NOT. diff is cool like powderhound said but it could be a bad idea. i ride at Cooke city 99% of the time and there it dosnt really matter a lot bout loudness compared to every wear else. if you ride at places like Westyellowstone or other very populated areas it prob a bad idea. i would like to think (my sled go F*** your self if you dont like the sound) but thinking like that is a great way to piss the wrong people off. from the sounds of things the HPS can is a good choice grumpy sounding but not offensive

Im in the same situation I dont know if I want jaws can or hps because I dont want one that sounds high pitched I want one that rumbles and I like the sound of the jaws can alot but not sure if it will be to loud when im on my sled does it make your ears ring after a day of riding?

it is loud on the sled, i wouldnt say ear ringing headache causing (to me anyhow) but it is loud, its louder to the passer bye than on the sled, imho

theres a thread only a couple down from this one, titled any one have a GGB can. theres a youtube clip on there of a sba800 it sounded alot like my jawz
