Jackson Hole Results ?

Yea Norm

CONGRATS to STORMIN NORMIN HEBERT! WORLD CHAMP AGAIN! YEA NORMIE (and crew...Alan says it's all about the mechanics). That celebratory kill shot of Canadian has never tasted so sweet. "OoooH CANADA"

Nice MTV interview too....I peed myself a little on that one!

TAMMY PHOTOS PLEASE!

14 oz shot glass

I can assure you that yes he does travel, He has not missed the hill climbs in Jackson one time since they started, nor has he missed any snocross or drags in idaho, montana, Utah or wyoming, Just because we are from Idaho doesn't mean were tree huggers, Personally, I use them for traction. I think the point he was making is that why do they have to gouge you like they do.
$2 for a shot glass full of beer.
Ill bet they really made a killing on that. And tell me this, If you just spent your hard earned money on something would you leave it on the curb, for someone to steal, or throw it in the garbage. Probably not.

Last time I checked shot galsses were 2 oz the beers on the hill were 14 oz. but still spendy. I was told by the vendor that the town of jackson is getting stricter and stricter every year. whats with the beer gardens closing a 4p.m. ?

answer to both: Jackson Police Department. the cops measured the beer glasses and threatened to shut beer sales down based on the idea that the beer cups are too big. 14oz! Oh my heck that's ahuge beer! Last year, the cops told the Snow Devils that they had to shut down beer sales at 4:00pm.
The new police chief seems to think that this event is his chance to lay down some law and order, he doesn't realize that he is in a tourist town.

As for the cost, heres the story. All the people that work the gate, sell beer, organize the race, post times, hill help, transport racers from the pit, etc. ARE ALL VOLUNTEER. This is a charity event. The profits from beer sales and gates sales goes to Shriner's Hospital in SLC. That's a good enough reason to drink.

As for the event, we as beer drinkers have ourselves to blame. I watched a moron dry hump the bear outside of the steakhouse last year. If we as spectaters can't behave in a semi-normal fassion, don' t complain when the beer is shut down. There were some seriously befunked people at the spec. section this year but they were responsible and considerate. It is the dumb-a$$es downtown after the races that will get this whole event shut down. Fun isn't some dork doin donuts at an intersection, downtown Jackson, in his jacked up diesel p/u (happened two years ago). My opinion that is why the Jackson police want the beer shut down.

As far as the cost of a beer, it does go to charity so write it off on your taxes or something and have another.

Parker smoked up the hill at a whopping 56.??? sec. It was definetly the fast time for the weekend but not of all time. He is riding a sled built by the king (K. Williamson) and it was running well. But Parker's presepter has the over-all fast time of 52.?????. That being Nathan Z. when he was 18 y.o., he, Ryan and Anthony were racing with the Capt. on what was raffled off at this years hillclimb, Ryan's mod sled which was built by K. Williamson at that time.

This isn't the fastest time over all but at that time the starting and finishing line was at a different place. At the current set up, Nathan has the fastest time.
As far as the sled this year, all mods except skidoo, had hair dryers on them. There were several ac mods, one yami and a few polaris. All the mods skidoos were natural aspiraded. My feelings is that hurt ski doo the most.

isn't this the guy that had to go to the hospital to get some wood splinters removed from his Mr. Winky?

Thanks to those that support our event, the Snowdevils go to great lengths to assure the event is ran to the best of our abilities. The effort put out by the volunteers is second to none, the hours spent coordinating, permitting, event set-up, tear down, etc... is something that takes months to prepare for and then pull it all off in four long (short) days is a monumental task that has been happening for 33 years. And don't forget the businesses and race sponsers that support this event. Hats off to the racers that travel hundreds of miles to our event, and those crazy guys and gals called "Hill Help" that work their butts off on the mountain. And last but not least, lets not forget about the fans that travel to Jackson from ??, pay $10.00 ($20 for weekend) to get in the gates and $2.00 for a beer. Thank you! As stated previously in this thread, we are a non-profit organization that donates all proceeds to various charities in need. So, next year, have another beer - just don't get stupid - and stay off the wooden bear out front of the Steak House. See you next year!

First timer, hopefully will be returning

Was my first time to Jackson for the hillclimbs, had a GREAT time. Saw some great machines and even better riders. Wasn't able to have any beers during the event, was helping out a couple racers, well maybe just hanging around the pits and trying to stay out of the way. I was also the one who won the first Polaris E-Vent jacket, with the frozen t-shirt. Looking at the calendar for next year, with a little luck will try to go to one of the other RMSHA dates/locations.

Thanks Sno-Devils and Jackson, Wy.

Is this what you guys are looking for?

Parker Brown did a great job riding and posting a 56.41 run on the hill. The sled suspension and clutching was done by the Capt. (kurt Williamson). The turbo kit was done by Pure Logic and ran flawless all weekend. The turbo kits can be purchased and installed by Kurt just contact him at (435)770-8411. This is one fast 800 dragon.

Bull crap bout the alchohol thing. Its about revenue and not about controlling individuals and how much alchohol they consume. Its all about the mighty dollar. Sell a beer for what a beer is worth and not 4 times what its worth and you'll not hear any complaining. My $.02.

Yep, it's all about revenue, that's why we shut down the beer tent at 4:00 PM instead of 5:00 PM, we can make more money that way. Seriously, we are simply following guidelines set by the permit to run the event. As for the beer price, I have to think someone would complain a $1.00 beer would be to much. 30 plus arrest this weekend, down from 50 some last year. Most all alcohal related, the cold weather helped a little - stupid things happen when the beer goggles go on. The message here is simple: We want our guest to have a good time, be safe, and return home safely so they may come back next year. Sounds like we'll see most of you guys back next year.
