I can tell you it was cold as hell and I spent a lot of $$
It wasn't Parkers sled there is only one person that can build a sled like that, Kirk Williamson. Very impressive sled and rider. Anyone know what broke in his king run???
Was in Jackson for the Hill climbs. Will be my last trip to them. First of all they searched all back-packs and womens purses for alcohol. Yes, I had to walk back 1-2 mile to where I was parked to leave my beer in the truck. You could buy beer there for $2.00 but the plastic cup was just a little bit bigger than a shot glass. You were not allowed to take any video or camera pictures on the hill. If they seen the flash your camara was confiscated. The cost of the motel rooms there jumped 50% for that week-end. But the price of diesel was 10 cents cheaper than in Pocatello ,that's was about the only good thing about the trip. I know that the Hill-climbs won.t miss me but I won,t miss them or the town of Jackson Hole either. Just my .02 worth.

Guess you don't travel much do you? Most major league stuff whether it be haydays or MLB or F-1 and Nascar, there are rules and of course they want to profit from concession sales and so on to say the least. I don't see anything wrong with it, especially with the inspections, who knows if your not some crazy tree hugger that is carring a piece? Also why did you have to walk all the way back to the truck becaue of the beer, just leave it on the curb or in the garbage? The time you walked and the energy you spent walking back to the truck for sure wasn't worth it.
I find the camera thing a bit odd, if you don't sell the pictures there shouldn't be any problem with it, you could easily turn your flash off and hope for the best by adjusting some settings.

Rear suspension
I guess he bent his rails, then the track loosened. From what I heard he was "the man". As far as the sled he was using, I heard it's for sale.
