JackAss parked at Baker turnaround again. WTH??

Anybody recognize the rig at Schriebers today? Red Chevy Tahoe/Suburban pulling a white enclosed. Who the heck was that?

There was probably 30 rigs with responsible owners parked down the single lane road respecting everyone else. This jerk off blows past everyone about 20+ mph and parks right in the turn around. I cannot believe he thought that was ok.

The snowline is about 3400' and pullouts are few and far between. The line of rigs was long and anyone heading up needed that one spot to get turned around and head down so the next guy could do the same.

Are these folks ignorant or are they just pricks?

What a dink!

Yeppers I agree! Should have taken a pic if that one and posted it! Maybe then he would have thought with his head and not his ***!!!! Hope he figures it out soon!

should have taken a picture and posted it.....
ha ha, I did that last year (taken a picture of someone parked in a turn around) or the year before up at gold creek. Right in front of the turn around sign too. I noticed they have another sign there now as well. It is hilarious when people end up knowing the guy.

It seemed like this happened when there were people there? Why didn't anyone talk to the dude?

That knucklehead is up there often and in places he shouldn't be with that trailer. Guess you can't fix stupid.

I guess we all need to look for his rig...next time someone needs to climb up on the hood and take a big dump on his truck. Think he'd get the picture?

Rt

I must have missed it.

Got there about 7:30 ish??

There was only 4-5 rigs there then.

I was amazed at how many rigs there was when we left at 12:30 WOW. Theres alot of people desperate for snow

I don't understand people like that. Today when I left, there were a couple treehuggers parked in it. Luckily for me they parked there after I turned around or I'd have been hosed.

seems to be a few peeps like that up there saturday when i got up there pulled down around the corner from my buddy so that i would not block the road for the enclosed and some guy in a new white chevy truck with open trailer behind him he did not have the courtesy to leave me enough room to load my sleds when i got back i had to scoot my truck forward when i said something he just said well i could load my sleds i left the spot because there was no room on the corner.the guy was really arriogant stuck really so dude if your reading this i hope your m8 breaks down and you freeze your nutz off walking out pompous azz

Whenever I park behind someone, I always leave them a lot of room to load (just out of common courtesy). When I park in front of someone though, I never leave myself enough room to load (I unload off the front so I don't need room behind to unload). I don't get ridiculously close to the truck behind me, but I don't leave enough room to load (enough room to get the sleds in there but a little tight for the ramp). I just pull forward a little to load up, no big deal. If more people did that there would be room for more rigs to park. I am shocked sometimes at how much room there is between some of the rigs I see parked. Some people are just down right greedy about how much room they leave behind them when they park in front of someone.

I would never wish for someone to be stranded on the mountain just because they parked a little too close behind me. Life is too short to get that upset about the small stuff.

I remember a few years ago during one spring ride that I came back down to the bluelake Y and found this purty new crew cab pulling a nice new fourplace blocking the entire intersection. Now I was about the 6th or 7th rig waiting for this guy to get back so we could leave. This just happened to be one of those days where I was working nights and decided to ride during the morning. SO, after my 3hr knap, yes I was late to work, I awoke to this guy screaming and throwing his stuff in this brand new rig. Well, it seems that someone was a tad more pissed than me and decided to take some sharp object and CARVE, "nice park job arshole" in both side of his truck.

Now, by know way do I think this is right, but I sure do think laying a turd on a guys windshield is funny as hell.

thats about the most vocal I have ever heard you AJ...tell us how you really felt?

Some people just need to look around and think about things a bit more before parking in a lame arse way.

When parkings tight I don't mind having someone park behind me where I can't just pull up and load, it doesn't bother me to have to pull the truck out onto the road and load real quick. Just don't park in the only turn around for a mile and be mindfull of others vehicles and give them the room to manuever.

Dump on hood is ok ;), keying a cars paint or slashing tires is absolute BS. Some people just don't have common sense, others are just A holes.

I agree 100%, but that story about the guy blocking the Y intersection to the point where people couldn't even get off the mountain is un-friggin-believable. That is an extreme case of someone living in their own private little world. People were lined up waiting for him to get back? What if someone would have had an injury or other medical emergency? I don't believe that vandalism is a solution either, but that guy should feel fortunate that all he got was some scratched paint.

Probably a poor choice of words and I apologize if I offended anyone.

This parking has been a real issue lately. Lack of snow and difficult roadside parking doesn't help. If it keeps happening, some idiot may resort to vandelism. This will only apply more pressure and ammo to shut it down.

Some folks have no respect for others.

We all would have liked the first spot from the snow but chose to ride some gravel because it was the right thing to do. Maybe get there before 10 am if you need extra room.

Anyway, rant over. Looks like Baker got another 9" last night!
