It's snowing

Right here, right now, at my house @ 1720' it's +3C and snowing. May 16 and it's snowing. You got to love winter to live in this valley. 9 months of winter and 3 months of poor sledding. Oh well, I got some fencing to do on saturday and then sunday I guess I'll go for a ride.

we got 5ft of new snow last week at 3500ft & above,there is more snow at the cabin now than there was in march.

-3C now, just got up to go to work, you can see the snow line across the mtns and it's well down into the trees, not far above me. I hear Kitimat is booming these days, good to see, it was looking pretty grim for you guys not that long ago.

Wow you guys got it made. Typically in California you have to wait a few days after a storm for it to setup.

Since we literally had no base this year you had to go ride at the storm since the snow was gone in a week. Last year we were still sledding in MAY

Yeah in California we got hosed this year.

Last year Memorial day weekend was foot plus powder day. Hopefully next year.

yup from doom to boom in 2 years,cant hardly find a place to rent or house to buy now.now shell just put in a proposal for a 12 billon dollar lng plant could get crowded here soon.we had about 30ft snow pack at 4500ft this year,2-3ft of fresh every day or two in march crazy.
