Any of you who want to vote Democrat can take your sleds, bikes, lawnmowers, gas powered weed whackers, boats, etc. and shove them off a cliff somewhere (make sure to drain the gas and oil first or you're polluting the environment!) because they will be useless if the Democratic majority has their way.

I'm for as little Feds as possible. The Feds need to do 3 things, ensure basic human rights (rights, not entitlements), regulate trade between states (interstate roads included) and provide a national defense. The rest should be left up to the states and cities to handle. Snowmobiling and wilderness issues should be left to the state and local governments and the Feds should leave it alone.
I don't know of any candidate that believes in that. Ron Paul is the closest, but I'm not sure we can just pull out of Iraq and leave a vacuum like he proposes.

Barack Hussein Obama or Hilary Clinton = Higher taxes and less freedoms. If you want to pay for some bums medical bills and give up your gun rights. Then you should consider moving to B.C.

Without question Mitt Romney is the best person for the job. The economy is critical right now and he is the best man to fix it. And I couldnt care less if he was a mormon of not.
It's like trying to decide whether to grab the electric fence with your left hand or your right!

I dont think Romney is a good choice, but better than Barrack Obama Bin Laden for sure, but Huckabee................he want to send all illeagal mexicano's back home, he wants to rid us of the IRS and make large companies that bid labor all overseas to pay the budgets, he has eternal faith(not the biggest issue but it helps).........sounds like a sure bet of a winner to me. But I dont think he will win.

I just took an on line test to see where I stand and it came in with Duncan Hunter 1st and Mitt Romney 2nd (right behind) for representing my stances on apx. 20 issues.
Barack and Hillary were wayyyy down at the bottom. The nice thing about it is it's not a debate just issues where they stand vs. where I stand. I do believe that Al Gore would be Sec. of Interior and that would create untold amounts of virtually irreversable land closures, not to mention regulations and economic problems.

Something else to consider about the candidtates. The figurehead aspect of it. Our President is a symbol, he represents the upper echelon of the American people. Just like a pop star should be photogenic and a model should be pretty. The president carry himself like a president! He should look like a President and talk like one and conduct himself like one? Dont discount this it is important aspect of our nations leader. He needs to be the type of person that intimidates foreign leaders when he walks into the room. Romney hands down smokes all the others by a mile when it comes to this. Not only that, he has everything else to back it up, in other words its not a show, he is the real deal. I am a republican through and through but I have always hated the way that Geoerge Bush fumbled around with his words and looked a little scruffy. This is one of the big reasons that Ronald Reagan is considered a legend in the eyes of most people.
No just looking at actions over words, on any given public land closure 99 out of 100 times it's been liberals pushing it through. Check out the Wild Sky closure near you. It was Patty Murray (liberal dem) and some other Democrat Rep that ran it through....

I expected to take beating on this topic. Just like on the fire arms while riding thread.
My wife tells me often "you always think your right". I want to hear other opinions without getting the YELLING spit on me. I am learning from your points of view. I may not agree, but respect our right to have differing opinions.
More than anything, our freedoms need to be protected. There have been too many laws, policies, directives and overseeing (sp?)in the last decade. The world wide preception of America and Americans is at an all time low. In this global economy this preception is a disadvantage for American businesses and the US Dollar. Which affects my ability to put food on the table.
If it helps, I ride with a bunch of great guys that are right wingers. Shhhhhhhh, don't tell them.
