IS there a difference between a can and a silencer?

I am curious if there is a difference between a can and a silencer..... I want to get something that mkaes my king cat loud and many ppl tell me to get a SLP can but all i can find is silencers.... are they diff or the same? I want something LOUD!!!

ok so how do i know if the slp can is going to make my king cat louder or quieter? do they all make the sled loud or do some actually quiet them down?

the SLP will be louder than your stock exhaust. If you want really loud, there is MBRP. Stick with the SLP, and keep your hearing a little longer.

I really hope that you are joking about making your sled 'LOUD!!!' with all the stuff going on in the sledding world these days, meaning that we are losing riding areas and having more restrictions put on us all the time. Intentionally making your sled louder is not doing your fellow sledders any favors. There are lots of ways to gain performance without making more noise. I see that CatWoman already provided the appropriate link, please take the time to read it and then make an informed choice. Your fellow sledders will thank you.
