Tial also makes the external wastegate. They are using "V-Band" connections on that, as well as on the exhaust outlet. BD and I believe the other manufacturers use Tial's wastegate and fittings, and build an exhaust system around that.

Can you take a GT2860 and convert it to a GTX2860?

yes you can these guys do it.
