I don't know what Barack Obama is hiding by not releasing his complete birth certificate. But it should be obvious to one and all that he is hiding something. Why continue to respond to a battery of lawsuits with legal maneuvering, fighting them by claiming bona fide U.S. citizens – who aren't afraid to show their birth certificates – don't have legal standing? Why not just release the document we all need to show to get a driver's license, to travel abroad, to play Little League baseball or to enroll in public school.

I don't think it was a case of it being overlooked.
It was something that never came up and I am sure was never considered.
As he was already an elected official it was just assumed. When the questions started coming up, it was already too late. He was the dem. nomonee. They HAD to back him. If they were to pull him they would alienate a large chunk of their party and we would have McCain in office (not much better, but at least he was for balancing the budget).

At this point, you will never see a true birth cert.. There are all kinds of stories about a live birth being the same thing and the stories of his mother bringing him to Hawaii 3 days after his birth and such. However, at this point even the US supreme court (I truly don't think) would dare recognize a birth cert. that showed anything other than him being a naturaly born US citizen.

Why?

The left would explode.
We would have fighting in the streets and the US supreme court knows the left isn't as well armed as the right. Seriously though, there would be riots all over the country.

The democratic party would be fractured and there would be accusations of conspiracy by the dems and such that the very foundation of the government would be at risk. I am not exagerating. Think of it. The left has total control, if they lose Obama, they lose control of their own party.
It would be ugly and it would be ugly FAST.
I think it would be great, but I don't think you will ever see an answer to the question of his birth cert.

I've been following Orly for a long time. In fact I just sent her money to help. She's not perfect, but she's a very determined, tenacious, accomplished immigrant from Russia who came here LEGALLY. You should read her testimony of what it was like living there and just trying to get food. She is a dentist, a lawyer and has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. She speaks a bunch of languages. She stood right up and told Chief Justice Roberts how she flew all the way to Idaho (where he was speaking) from L.A. and when she said why, everyone laughed at her. She didn't miss a beat or let that intimidate her. Once you start reading the crap they've dug up on BO, it will make you LIVID.
