Is it time to ride?

Burandt has posted two or three video's up on facebook of him riding already, and it looks fairly deep! Wondering if I should load my sled and head up the hill??? Where's all the snow in these video clips?

Wolf Creek area?

Replacement parts are too expensive this early in the season:face-icon-small-sho.

Prolly not, here's why:

WC got 36" inches. The forecast calls for sun and warmer temps and it is ONLY Oct 11.

You just have one sled that you have to pay for when it breaks, Burandt has 12 and gets free service, parts and sleds.

You have a job that doesn't permit you to just stop, drop and roll out to the snow. Burandt gets paid to travel and post those vids.

It's cool that it snowed alot down there but be patient, the snow will pile up soon enough and we will be out. Just wait. No need to go ramming around in less than suitable snow conditions, possibly busting sh*t or worse getting seen tearing through snow that is barely covering the foilage and getting seen by the wrong people.

Go hit that chit if ya want! Just be careful. No base underneath so pretty easy to wreck on stumps and rocks though.

^^^^ Ya, that's kinda the point I was trying to make. Most of us just have one sled. It would really suck to bust it up and potentially as$hole yourself and have to sit out the season with a busted body part, all because you got the "Jonesin" for snow and braggin rights with an early season ride.

If I'm riding by thanksgiving i'll be happy. dont feel much like rushing it this year.

**** my sled is still completley torn apart and I havent evne sent my t urbo off for repair yet

ALL very valid points. Gonna sit and WATCH those cool vids until there's a nice snow pack. I only wish they would show the broken sh$t in those vids when they hit stumps and things. Watched a cool one on youtube of Burandt's throttle sticking and straight into a tree. Only reason I laughed is cuz I know he just threw it away and jumpped on a new one. I on the other hand, would be crying all the way back to denver.
