Is it GAME OVER for me and sledding????

image.php

LOL. How fitting.

Rockmeister, we never got to ride together. We'll have to find another way to socialize.
Fricken Kim is down too...missed out on a good one last weekend.

Sheesh.

Best of health to ya. Ya can't put a price on good health.

I'll have to drum up some memorial pictures.
I have a few related to this moment in time....LOL

hahaha. Thanks Scott.

I have to say thank you for the number of comments and the tone of those comments too. I recieved a lot of e-mails too. I am humbled by you all. The basic summary. We make friends though sledding but we keep them after that is done. This week sucked. I kept wondering... then I would feel all the pain and it made it easier to know I'm done. Been looking at a new Dual Sport to ease the pain but wonder if I can even ride at all. My street bike didn't please me this week when I tried that. It IS game over for a while. Better days ahead. Thank you all, my good friends. :rose:

I wonder if we can fit a litetrax for wheelchair access?

dual tracks, honda power, winch to get unstuck... might work..

Good luck with the back!! Hopefully some rest away from the pounding with some good therapy will allow for a sprinkle of riding on a cushy ride.;)
I believe that with the amount of friends here, that having a sled in the future wouldn't be a problem for you.
You could always take up the fight for our sledding rights for us if you feel compelled to be around the sport. For sure continue to stick around here as I have enjoyed a lot of you posts and it looks like this summer, keyboard jockying will probably be at an all time high.

love that pic Scott! have you seen the rest of it? I have it somewhere...

Dunatic, bite me! ;) Thanks for the endorsement. Not all photos are intended to public display. get it?! GOT HOT DOG PANTS? lmao ;) damn, I miss YOU already.

Rock and SS out...I guess there will be some blank pages on the 4m. Hate to hear you're out with the count Rock. I must say you have been very instrumental in bringing a lot of good to this 4m through your good works, with all the avalanche awareness, fundraisers, and for being one funny azz dude. Shame we never got to take a ride together, but on the flop side I really can't afford to have a heli-lift on backup. :D Hope all works out and we will always be waiting to hear about the next chapter. -MERL

Ohhhh I have about 3 of the pics from that scene. LOL

And one bonus pic....and we'll start with that one. HAHAHA

Man rock i didnt realize it was this bad. I am glad you made a good decision. One wrong move on that sled could really put you out. I think you made an awesome decision and i hope you stick around here. I might have to come check out the sled and meet you.

hahahaaaaa it was only a matter of time!!!!!! too funny. I at least have a ton of great memories. I hope they can fix me and get me back on a sled. that would be my goal!!! Scott? you WILL pay. ;) and Dunatic.... I know where he got these shots! so... you'll pay too. and stop pocket dialing me while you're playing pocket pool.

oh wow you guys have tons of fun while riding. Looks like i need to come with this group haha. Rock i wanna come check that sled out.

Don't think about this choice even once Rock.

Never met ya, but I know you made the right call.

My old man is in his 50s and worked hard all his life and beat the chit outta his body without ever taking time to rest and heal. Now he's slowed down and works slower, but the damage has been done.

He deals with the pain and still does what he likes.

What bugs the hell out of him and even though he won't say, I know what hurts him worse then the constant aches, IS THAT HE CAN'T PLAY WITH HIS GRANDKIDS THE WAY THEY WANT TO PLAY.

It's real hard for a 4 year old to understand why Grandpa can't wrestle on the floor when her other grandpa can.

So without a doubt you are making the right call. :beer; for ya man.

And scott those pics are just disturbing.
