Is BR Tech still doing business?

Is BR Tech alive? We called asking where a hood is that we had prepaid for and they would say there working on it. Now every time someone calls no one answers and they dont respond to emails. Does anyone know whats going on? This is not very business like. The least they could is let us know whats going on. Seems like not to long ago I read something about them being slow but come on almost no 2 weeks and no word back? Not trying to talk bad about them but would like answers about what is going on.

I saw a post about a month ago on either here or dootalk (can't remeber) for a going out of business sale @ BR Tech. That sucks, I hope you can track them down and at least get a refund.

There are better choices. I dumped all my BR stuff. its so flimsy I refused to install any of it,Fine for a trail sled

Finally got ahold of him, I think this caught their attention. We have to wait till Saturday for him to ship it. Not too happy about it. Dude shouldve disclosed all this upfront where he knew he couldnt get it done till then.

I completely disagree with all the bashing of the thrasher hoods. It's an awesome product, maybe just not what some of you expect it to be.
What it is is a super light weight, cheap and tough hood. You can't buy anything lighter. I doubt even a mesh hood with alum understructure would be lighter than a thrasher hood.
What it is not is pretty. You have to cut your own light holes, venting, etc into it and vinyl wraps or stickers won't stick to it very well. It's basically the same material as a bellypan, but built really light. So obviously it is matte finish. You can jump up and down on one of these hoods and they will just pop back into shape. It's possible to stretch the material a bit so it warps, but it will never break
Sorry to hear that they've cut back production and some of you are having trouble with them.
