Is a 800 to much for a 13 year old?

Lots just depends on the kid. #1 is talent and the other is size, is he big enough to start, manuever the big sled. In the long run a decent 500 now for $1000 wil make him learn better and will probably be cheaper than repairing the good sled after he pones stumps and rocks.

he will love riping on the 8. it will teach him respect for power. im sure he will get himself into trouble once or twice but who hasnt done that. i still do almost daily.

Sorry I just couldn't hold back !! >>>>.

Dont get your kids killed and then get us more restrictions on snowmobiles and snowmobiling. My five year old nephew can drive my Tapex too but I dont let him.

But it's so cute!

I remember riding my first Twoski back in 1999' with some Ellensburg familys. There was allways some shmuck putting their little darling on their old Ultra cause they had their new 7Hunnert. Allways having to pay attention to that dimwited eleven year old looking back at us not ahead while he was leading the group was sickening. They were lucky, that kid grew up and is pretty good on his M1000 now, but now he and his buddies are allways tempting the chutes in Lake Ann, and Gallagher, time will tell.

But the most comical to me was the egomaniac that got his girlfriend or Housewife of Orange County some mod sled as fast or faster than his, then he wondered why she would'nt ride ever again after an unexpected throttle burst slamed her into the bank, breaking her wrist, or ribs!

Thats how some of you fellers are never going to be able to give your kids anything with a motor, momma's gonna remember those death machines for the rest of her life. And her baby will never be subject to harms way, untill she hosts his first kegger!:face-icon-small-hap

thanks for all your comments. He has riden a 600 zr for a few years so it isnt like he is just jumping on a 800 for the first time. I did decide to go back down to the 700. I think he can handle the 8 but have 2 other boys comeing up to go threw to
