OoNoSnow,

the early snow like this is really just taht...early stuff...for most of us out west even Revelstoke etc. the kick off of the sledding season is really the week after Christmas...occassionally, we get earlier snow, which really only extends it by a week earlier...

and the rare occasion we get some early early dumps like we did in October this year, and that was a freak storm...

have no fear, there is snow coming...

it is one of those impossible things to describe how/why we know, but it is just fact...the nights are cooler earlier, and the mornings have a nice BITE to them, and that is the key to knowing that a big storm is brewing and staging itself!! it is not a doppler radar thing or a jet stream thing, it is just the way it is...

oh yeah, and the beer is cooler, and the strozzi's tastes better.... :)

I myself am looking forward to havin some Wolf Pack brew. Maybe even some Embalmer's Eisboch :beer;

Talk about weird weather. Yesterday freezing cold, around 15F, then overnight it warmed up. Today it is 40F and raining! It is like a spring day, early April in December. I suppose if it gets colder this rain will turn to snow. At any rate, I want to see some of the white stuff! :cool:

If west gets more then 10 inchs out of the winter strom watch I will bring even more Schells along and the first two rounds will be on me!!!!!!!

Traded Nicki's sled for a new 120 and a New snow blower, just in time calling for snow 6 out the next 7 days here. New Years party at my house if things don't change. D
