Is that on the way to Cabin Creek? I can't tell, but that slope in the upper left of the second pic does look familiar.

Looks like the area just to the north west of the ranger cabin in cabin creek. Either there or the one spot i was in when i was totally lost. Prety much a toss up
I've never been lost only misplaced.
Its sad when once again we are going to have more snow here in southern Mn then west in a Winter weather advisory and it is snowing pretty good right now calling for 3-5 with wind Snow day tomorrow Maybe I will go do a little old ditch banging tomorrow. Could that pic be from the area around the snow bridge up red canyon?

Was an EPIC day...boondock to an opening like the one in the picture...tear it up till we were exhausted.... boondock to another opening...and repeat
later in the day we had to shovel a sidehill trail for about 60 yards to get off the mountain via a horse trail....
ok is that enough specifics without guessing again???
