HOLY PUCKER FACTOR on I-90 tonight batman!! Glaze ice polished by all of the stuck semis with the patrol trying to weave traffic through the mess! We had to stop and help push a cop car out of the way (which is tough when its so icy its hard to even stand!) and then try to start moving again while going uphill! Yikes!!! Hope anyone else coming up did it safely.

snow conditions
leaving tomorrow for west and was wondering what the snow is like? Forcast says there is some coming but how much has fell in the last few days.
any info would be great.

Hey sorry to be nosey kinda curious what was wrong with is 08 duramax. We have 3000 miles on our 08 with Quadzilla stealth 2, muffler delete and edge Insight and runs awesome. Make sure to replace fuel filter every 10,000 miles with the crappy fuel we get

Bob, he had an Edge controller on it I guess. We unhooked it and problem solved.

08 Duramax
My 08 has been in the shop more times than I can count because the check engine light comes on and it goes into limp mode. Check with your dealer, but one of the problems was with the sensor that is located on the air intake between the turbo and the engine. It would sense moisture and put the truck into limp mode. If your truck has had the upgrade done, you will see the sensor with no wires attached to it. You will also see where they relocated a new sensor just to the right as you look at the engine. Since this was done I have only gone into limp mode once. That was with Cenex "wintermaster" fuel that was supposed to be good to -35 but jelled up at -28. Hope this helps.

Picked up about 4 inches here in town the last two days. Snowing today with 4 to 6 expected, and another 4 to 6 tonight into tomorrow. The guys that have been riding said south of here has about a foot and a half of new. That was yesterday so it should be good today with what we have coming down. Wind has picked up so vis. will be bad today................
kurt sorry we didnt get to see you and shell before we left, as allways had a great time -take care of them ribs!! Looking forward to next season allready -sory to say my season is over

We went up to the cabin today, got up early and got a jump on things so we're back to town early. Visibility was awful because of all the snow falling, wind wasn't an issue (although it just picked up a ton here in town). All of our in tracks were covered going out. I would say 4-6" up there today and it was starting to snow harder when we got going.
