Need help posting pics

Well, I thought I was computer savvy enough to figure out how to upload pics. Turns out I don't have the patience. So, anybody able to give me some pointers, using either photobucket.com or this program? I'd sure appreciate it.
Top Dog, Young Dog, Old Dog and Mountain Goat all had a great ride for 3 days and can't wait to get back.
Thanks.

Go to photo bucket.com, open your account. On the right side click browse, find the picture you want to load and click open. It will load into the blank space next to browse. If you want more than one picture click the next browse and do the same. When you have the pictures you want click upload. When the pictures are uploaded click edit on each picture and then resize, I resize them to message board. Once resized click on the direct link below the picture, it copies them then come here to message and click on the little picture of the mountain. Delete the http:// right click and hit paste. If your doing more than one picture you have to repeat each picture..............

Can't really explain why West is so dead - maybe because I'm not there! Ha,Ha! Actually I'm surprized there is not more of your northerly neighbours visiting, since our dollar is a lot closer to yours now. They always say why should we drive all the way down there when we can head to B.C. - shorter drive. Point well taken, but they don't know what they are missing and its a great change. I'm tired of trying to convince people, I'm just happy to be there! Six days and counting - woo, hoo! :beer;:face-icon-small-win

I think the good snow all over the west has something to do with it. People coming from the east have to pass alot of good riding areas to get to west. Plus the upper midwest has snow,so instead of two trips or three maybe just one. Just a thought... I will be there on the 26th..

Kurt,

I will be out with Smitty and Butler, maybe one other puke that is *****ing about money on Saturday about 2 or 3am...see you then. Sounds like more powder for us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Woke to light snow this morning, and it's in the forcast the next five days. Temps are suppose to be in the mid teens during the day and cold at night wtih lows in the single digits to below zero. Thanks for the replys to my question, and keep them coming. It gives me something to look at during the day...................

There will be 15 of us there this weekend. 4 us leaving tomorrow morning at 8:00. The rest tomorrow night. Cant wait to ride in some good snow, being that we have none in ND.

Last year there were several sites that gave snow depth reports on trails. Those sites are not managed now. The Chamber of Commerce has JUST started listing grooming trail dates but no snow info. The Chambers web cam works at the cross country ski trail but there isn't another web cam operating for snowmobiling or at the west entrance to the park as advertised. Thanks for the new one at Golden West but still hard to grasp depth of snow on trails. I googled "Snotel" and can now find snow depths that way but I'm not sure how many people out there know about that site. Glad to find this forum(thanks again to Google". We are 3 coming up from Florida the end of Jan. and 6 of us the end of Feb. Does the Chamber of Commerce want to promote snowmobiling? There is s huge market out there!!!!!!!

Trails

Was out west on the 9th-11th sledding with the wives! The trails were in great condition with very little traffic. Which was nice since they didn't get so washboardy! The wives loved the 3 days of sledding. Put on over 250 miles with the ladies and they loved every bit of it! Was better than Tog. that we did last year!!! Sorry couldn't catch up with you Kurt. But if the wives wanted to go sledding yet on that thursday, I wasn't going to tell them no. Nice to have the wife go sledding and enjoy it!!! Had a great time in West Yellowstone! Food was great! People were nice and the snow was AWESOME!:beer;:beer;:beer;:D

Hey Kurt, I kid you not, but at 2 in the morn I saw a Ghost on the West Yellowstone cam..... and then there was this big snow bunny with fangs starring me down!:eek: Is this someones idea of a halloween prank? If so they are a little late! Lets see Miss Yellowstone 2008 on there... that would be much better! :D

coming to visit

Hey Kurt,

Dan and Dave here. Formerly known as Corniceking! We're over in Cooke and thinking about coming over tomorrow p.m. Heard the snow is good there. It's pretty good here also. The wind the other day fugged some of of up though. What happened today over there? Is it still epic riding or what? Is Schod (Mikey) around? Believe it or not apparently Cave IS working! Dave talked to him a couple times this week. Let me know what's happening! Thanks, Dan

Dan,
It's been below 0 the last three nights and some wind today. You know what they both can do to good powder. I have not been out the last three days, but on Mon it was waist deep pow all day. I'm sure if you come this way there will be powder to be found...........

first time replying. hello to all from a flatlander with some mtn exp. Curious about snow cond. in West Y and the odds of a guy on a rental hooking up with a random group for a day or two?

First welcome to the forum, don't take any sh!t from the guys posting on this thread. Second, depends on when your looking at coming out? But the chances of hookin up with someone are good..................
